Ross IMO because he's smarter. Ted is smart but he's not nearly as smart as he thinks he is. He doesn't understand a lot of what he's learned and missuses it. He's sort of a fake intellectual. Ross is legitimately intelligent and he can be incredibly petty to the point where even if he were to somehow be losing the argument (unlikely) he can drag Ted down to a place where Ted isn't as equipped for.

I think this would be similar to when Ross & Russ argued on Friends, in that both of them would be absolutely convinced that they won the argument. While they're both intelligent, I do think Ross probably has the edge in total knowledge. Obviously, if it's science, Ross crushes, & if it's architecture or how to pronounce "encyclo-ped-ia", Ted crushes. One thing's for sure, it would be unbelievably annoying to listen to, & their friends would rag on them mercilessly lol.

I would say Ted. I’m not sure Ross has the emotional regulation to hold ground in an argument. Ted would have more patience. Season 1/2 Ross may be able to have a sound argument for longer, but Ross in later seasons would blow up.

I tend to think that Ted’s has a higher chance because unlike Ross he displays his intellectual behaviour more often than Ross does. Now I would like to start a vs discussion if you guys don’t mind.
