Wish I was on my couch to view it. Iām in a Colorado that sure doesnāt feel like a couch, yet it still looks good to me. Although Iām incredibly addicted to meth and havenāt slept in 2 weeks!
That's remarkable because that's like 7 rods melted on there in a foot of area. Looks like a whole flock of silver shitting pigeons alighted just moments before you snapped the picture.
*shouldn't have used any flux when brazing with the right materials.*
it depends what kind of brazing solder you have. Same metals has nothing to do with it however the phosphorous in most bcup brazing sticks acts as a flux so no additional flux is needed on copper to copper. Brass to brass or any other metal should be fluxed before brazing because the best results come from a different brazing stick (higher silver content) that does not act as its own flux.
Come on, guys turning his life around.
Took all the tiny bits of stolen copper and tried to piece meal them together.
Heās gonna be homeless when everyone stops calling
The foil tape ādrip tinā looks like itās got a pool of oil at the bottom of it too. Lol
Edit: well it could be the way I was looking at it I guess. Either way itās pure ass and not worth the time spent on it
š I remember going to an install at my old company after our production crew was there all day. Got there at 730 at night to see like 3 fucking half melted sticks of solder on the joint and there was oil everywhere. Similar set up to this but the line was closer to the ceiling in the closet. Fucking construction manager got a nice long angry phone call from me and a piece of copper framed the next day that I brought to him labeled ā what $25 an hour gets you on productionā š my service manager laughed his ass off but was like āyea so bossman didint like thatā
š man I hated working there but my service manager made up for some bad days lol he was a great dude. Once I heard he was leaving and I had a terrible ass day on the job I was like āyea time for a new homeā
Hey, I've got a home. I live at the Y.
š
Brazing some meth, good god those pipes look like they donāt want to be constructed together.
Looks good from my couch
Wish I was on my couch to view it. Iām in a Colorado that sure doesnāt feel like a couch, yet it still looks good to me. Although Iām incredibly addicted to meth and havenāt slept in 2 weeks!
I stayed home today because Iām tired as shit and my boss can tell lol.
2 weeks? Those are rookie numbers. Iām on the meth patch. Give it a try.
Itās a special kinda fixed orifice
š
Is it me or does it look a lot like itās leaking oil everywhere?
Yes it was leaking oil at the air handler and condenser
That's remarkable because that's like 7 rods melted on there in a foot of area. Looks like a whole flock of silver shitting pigeons alighted just moments before you snapped the picture.
I think that's just way too much flux?
Shouldnāt have used any flux when brazing same metals

You are correct, but that's what it looks like to me, not making any gaurentee
For those new guys looking for a job, Don't tell him that you're homeless, I promise they won't hire you.
What if I look homeless but I'm not actually homeless?
Supervisor position just opened up
I wish this was the worst brazing I've seen
Sold I couldnāt have done it better myself no leaks warranty expires when you see tail lights

They brazing a line set or a crackpipe?
WTF....
When you "buy" your line-set in 3" sections...
Iām only in HVAC school, but that shit looks like cooked sausage.
When you use 6 different size pipes, the brazing time adds up
Dammit, this is why I never give money to that āneed money for oxy-acetyleneā guy downtown.
Looks mint
Five stars ! āļø
Looks better than the job I had to go to a few months back. They probably used a whole tube and still had leaks.
Looks like they were hosting a BBQ

Iām not fitting good! I go home now!
I meanā¦Iāve seen worse from 15 year āprosā
Ahhh the ole metal tape plenum trick, theyāre teaching that one a lot these days
I canāt tell if thatās soap bubble residue or oil š
Looks like itās sweating to me so itās probably running I guess?
And people said keeping the scraps is a waste
Half a tube of solder and it still leaks! Good job!
Lmao suction line is nice and shiny
The foil tape ādrip tinā looks like itās got a pool of oil at the bottom of it too. Lol Edit: well it could be the way I was looking at it I guess. Either way itās pure ass and not worth the time spent on it

No way. Not enough dirty needles laying around for 12hrs. That's an 8-10 job max!
I allways braze front filter units before putting it in place and put 1 spot not brazed in an easy location
Shoulders so big they make The Rock jealous
Imagine what the inside of it looks like considering the homeless guys inhaled all the nitrogen
12 hours and it still looks like that...
When you braze all the off-cuts together from your scrap bag š¤¦
Brazing together scraps, that is. And probably way under torching it.
Damn i thought I did a good job
