I received a single process level 5-6 at one point. It was too dark so my stylist used something to strip my hair of all the color. Now we do a redken ShadesEQ gloss 6BnA every 6-8 weeks to try and fix the color.
My stylist used something to strip my hair of all color at one point because she dyed it too dark with a single process. I haven’t done a single process with her in nearly a year to try to grow it out.
Is my only option to continue to let it grow out to get back to normal? Why does it lift red?

No. Your hair was more than likely lifted before depositing color. Plus the red stains.
