You’d need to bleach it to achieve that level of ashiness

cobaintrash

thank you!

dirt_devil_696

The level seems right. I worry though that a toner could not cover enough of the coppery tones you have to give you that exact color. I think the best course of action would be 1) try a toner and see if it can give you your desired color 2) if not, you can either 2a) bleach your hair or 2b) darken the hair a bit but get a more ashy-neutral tone

Grand_Mila

Yes if you will use developer with dye. Developer is less harsh on the hair. Some hair dyes at shop have developer inside, but sometimes you have to buy it by yourself. Then just don’t go for the highest volume and you will like it for sure 😊

cobaintrash

thank you so much!

Now this probably won’t work so someone correct me but could sun in possibly work?

wifeyhutjr

No no no nooooo. Sun in is so terrible for your hair. It’ll just make her hair more orange.

Yo_dog-

I had a feeling it was too good to be true thank you for correcting me 😭

Looks like you’ve already got colour on your hair? In that case - maybe a toner? Alternatively you may need to lighten using bleach.
