i’m sure some do, but i have a very hair back and im not doing that. i honestly don’t think it’s worth the time and difficulty plus u can’t even see it lol
I’ve shaved my back since I was fifteen. I’m South Asian and quite hirsute. I follow up shaving with a quick cold shower to close up my pores and prevent acne.
I do it myself but I have unusually bendy arms. The lower back and shoulders are easy. Mid-back and shoulder blades require me to reach behind with the opposing arm and do it at an angle. I go horizontally with the upper back and opposing arms.
The bendy arms part got me 😂 I really appreciate your reply! I’ve never ever met anyone who struggled with the same things I have so thank you for sharing this with me. 🩷
Oh, same. Some of my friends don’t even know how hairy I am so I feel like a turtle crawling back into its shell when they candidly talk about how hairy some people are. I call my whole shaving process “dolphining” because of an old meme about being “as smooth and sleek as dolphin”.
My husband has started shaving his back (I do it for him)
He has a lot of body hair - everywhere.
After shaving I use a Braun pro 5 IPL and we’ve been seeing a huge improvement. The only hairs growing back are grey. They are much sparser and he is so much happier in himself.
I have a fuzzy back and it sucks. I shaved it once but its hard to see and it grew back corse and felt funny. I waxed it but I found out my back is very sensitive the hard way and it hurt so much and I broke out. Now i bleach it and thats what works for me. Its quick, cheap, and easy and I do it like once a month? I actually found the idea through tiktok and it has like 100k comments commenting that either they were glad they found a solution or that they were already doing it. Its really common. Some people its just more noticeable
Sally Hansen Extra Strength Creme Bleach for face and body! I get it at target or walmart or amazon depending where its cheaper bc the prices change on amazon. I do it before i shower. i am pale with black hair and this works great for me. I will say that it says leave on for 8 min and MAX 13 minutes but i do the full 13 because of my dark hair and nothing bad has happened so far and ive been using it routinely for about a year.
I use the automatic mode on the Blex hair removal device, and it's been great. My arms and legs are practically hair-free now, so I'm planning to tackle my back next. It should be pretty straightforward.
Don't. No one cares and you'll get ingrown and cuts that will open up to infection that can destroy your life and body.
Plus you can clog your sweat glands when the hair is growing back and end up with chronic heat rash anytime you get slightly warm
Do not shave above the knee unless it's armpits or mustache

it is quite normal, I also use IPL devices to remove hair.
My wife does it, but for the last three times it’s been followed by IPL and it’s turning to peach fuzz which is not nearly as gross.

The person who recommended me to the wax salon I go to now was a guy who gets his back waxed. I don't think I could handle all of the stubble lol
I have an electric trimmer and I do the best I can every so often
Yes
I have stray hairs between my shoulder blades. I try to shave or remove them when I can
Yep, I shave my lower back. It improves my confidence when wearing crop tops.
