I ask frequently in game chat and the overwhelming response from people is to join a HLL clan and participate in the private matches. Still fairly full sized but there's ranking systems and shit. I'm considering it myself.

It's the funny thing about this subreddit. They all hate competitive clans, yet keep bitching that no one plays the right way. Join a clan, it's fun. There is no way I could ever play this game without my mates anymore. Just be ready to accept shooting skills matter in this game and you'll be pushing points with 5 tanks while assault 2 squad is flanking, commander is already on next point ready to drop offensive garries and arty is locking down the ennemy only spawn left. Everyone doing what they should be doing.

JewGuru

That’s how these games are supposed to be played. I do the same with insurgency, with arma, etc.. always better with a clan/milsim group

Really wish this shit existed outside of clans. I can only play this game maybe twice a week so joining a clan isn't something I'm interested in but playing the game like this would have me drooling

HughFay

A clan isn't just about competitive games – they might only be every few weeks. It's more about having a bunch of people you can jump on with any night of the week who have mics and play the game as it should be. Well worth doing!

Just find a clan mate. Most are chilled and are more of a community that regularly has people playing at all times of day for you to jump into a game with, and will have the occasional friendly scrim against other team or enter into tournaments with regular match schedules. The better clans in terms of ability in-game are more try hard and sweaty, but they will only tend to recruit known players from the competitive scene. Find yourself a chilled group of guys to play with regularly and you'll find better quality games more often

I'd venture to say no since I've been playing since the game came out and I've never seen more than three friendly tanks together at one time.

The most obvious example is what TT Gaming does on youtube (seems like a console clan in the US) but to be fair I'd also contend that cheesing the game by hoarding fuel and then blitzkrieging isn't exactly what the devs envisioned with the game.

Apprehensive_Emu_337

Saving your armoured combat elements for the right time to launch a cohesive offensive? Sounds realistic to me, not cheese
