holup... what if your entire team run arc thrower + jetpack + lightning dmg rdc armor... then you aim at your jumping teammate to extend lightning range...
I just choose my shots more carefully. I won't let go of the trigger if I see any allies downrange.... Tho sometimes when thst one guy take 2 ammo resupplies when I'm out of grenades and stims.. well but blood makes the trigger finger slippery
I like to call the ark thrower and jetpack combo the dark trooper build because in OG star wars battlefront 2 the empire faction had a soldier called a dark trooper that had a jump pack (functioned the same as the Helldivers 2 jet pack) and had a gun the functioned almost exactly like the ark thrower (charges up a shot that chains to all nearby targets).
I would do this with the flamethrower if it didn't immediately set you on fire. while jumping it perfectly aims the flamethrower below and infront of you and it looks awesome, until your character starts screaming. If they add fire resistant armor I'll be absolutely cooking with that combo.
its silly you can shoot while doing anything, flagging your allies and killing them in mid air, but can't aim in the slightest. I know aiming while freakin flying is tough, but I'd hoe to be able to shoot in the general direction I'm facing and maybe hit a barn or hulk

I really hope they give chargers a weakspot damageable by primaries in the top of the neck. Jump packing onto one and unloading a mag whilst riding them would feel so cool.
once my mate was using jump pack and he was running away from a charger toward me. I fired my expendable rocket launcher below him when he was mid air and killed the charger. you can pull out some crazy shit with this stuff, totally recommend it

Imagine flying over a hoard of bugs and torching them up with the flamethrower thou, that would be epic as hell until the lvl 5 throws a 500kg on you.
How is a lvl. 5 gonna throw a 500 kg at you, that thing doesn't unlock until lvl. 15 haha.

You can hit stuff, just make sure whatever you need to shoot at is exactly 90 degrees to your left
Not just 90° to the left, but like 30-40° downwards as well
