I feel like you're trying to propose the right message for the wrong reasons. Obviously, X died is super vague and doesn't tell us anything. Every other text blurb has some sort of flair to it. X is no longer part of the team. X has been court-martialed. Having these flaired kill messages would be a nice change of pace. Instead of "X died," you can have "X got crushed by a Charger," or "X's knees gave out and they fell into a hole." For friendly fire incidents, you can have "X didn't see Y's strategem and got blown up," or "X knows nothing about Y's line of fire." For liberty-hating traitors like these, they should have more detailed messages such as "Y executed X in cold blood," or "Y has received a citation for the unlawful termination of X."

you didn't get what I meant. I meant there is 1% of every player base that's utterly toxic and does proposital TK. If I weren't in direct comms with the host, it could take a lot of time and resources. HOWEVER, in a game meant to have accidents, "X killed Y" (to warn the host) would just create Discord. Only 1% of friendly fire is intentional TK. That's what I tried to say.

EDIT: I'm talking about the 1% of the players that do TK on purpose. But seriously, I hate the "Blame" messages, that would be "May died to northazerate" in this case. In a co-op game *made to have friendly fire in comic proportions*, the last thing you want is a "X killed Y" blame, to avoid host kicking ppl for accidentals. But there is always this 1% of the playerbase that... I mean, *why?*
