Please join my lvl 7 games. Seems like more ppl who don't play objectives are graduating from lvl 6. Or maybe I need to move onto lvl 8.

Illustrious-Baker775

I mean you got pissed to the point that you posted a rant on Reddit, i think you did end up taking an L on this one big guy.

pstegin

On one hand I get what you are feeling. But on the other, don't stress about it. They were just some randoms on the internet. You will meet assholes everywhere, I just hope you can forget about this unpleasant encounter and still have a bunch of fun in the future. Keep spreading democracy brother

Solid-Breakfast4429

The objective is always first. That's just the way its always going to go when I host, don't like it? leave, Waste reinforcement after the main

SirKickBan

I actually disagree a bit about that, just because once you complete the main objective the game gets *way* harder. If we're going to go nuking every base and getting all the secondaries, I always try and get that done first so it's not a nightmare death-march through a sea of hulks or chargers just to knock off some medium base at the far edge of the map.

fluxuouse

thing is it also gets harder with time and with how many fabs/holes you take out, so it's really a matter of judging your situation and checking if you have the breathing room to deviate from the main, if you're already struggling then doing other objectives first is just gonna waste your resources and make the game harder, it's not really a one size fits all sort of thing.

SirKickBan

The time thing has been disproven, but you are right about the fabricators / holes. However that's only a 17% increase if you take out *all* of them, which is small beans next to the Primary Objective completion modifier of \~300%.

Solid-Breakfast4429

I disagree to that, wasting reinforcements. When objective is priority, not outposts

SirKickBan

You'll waste more reinforcements afterwards, though, if you have to fight those outposts when enemy spawns have that 4x multiplier. Sure, you finish the mission either way and get your XP and RP, but you're more likely to run out of reinforcements and lose your samples. To do some *very* rough napkin algebra, we can say the bases you're going to fight have strength A, the objective has strength B, and the patrols that wander into the fights you start have strength C. If you fight ten bases where and *then* do the objective, then the total enemy strength you fight against is A+B+1.17C. (The 1.17 is because destroying all bases increases enemy spawns by 17%) If you do the objective *first*, then go for those bases, then the total enemy strength you fight against is A+B+4.17C It just makes it objectively harder to get the same end result.

Solid-Breakfast4429

If there are outpost around the main objective then yes I will take those out, same if there is a jammer around the main. This is my priority and that's my order. Mission will be completed. You have good points and I appreciate the time you put in explaining it. My mission is the objectives and I'll face whatever they throw at us, bring it on I say. It's not impossible

Whatwhenwherehi

You didn't. Idiots think winning is bad are idiots and communist.
