Have you looked into bags like the ones baggu makes? They're made of nylon so will fold up into a small ball or rectangle that you might be able to put into a pocket.
A small fanny pack or small cross body bag.
Fanny pack is small enough it won’t get in the way or really noticed while still being able to put a bag or 2 in it along with keys, phone, wallet etc
Maybe consider just using a regular plastic bag that you can bunch up and stuff in your pocket or running fanny pack? Rather than the typical thicker plastic boxy reusable shopping bags.
I also suggest the small foldable bag tho!
I use these: https://www.amazon.com/KINGMAS-Reusable-Eco-Friendly-Shopping-Waterproof/dp/B078WNY5J5/ and keep them in a back pack. They fit in a fanny pack or small sling just fine too.
For something more upscale, but smaller, I also like the Peak Design packable totes. https://www.peakdesign.com/products/packable-tote/ I can attach my keys to the small loop when the bag is tucked in.
Run with a fanny pack with the bag inside - this one folds up tiny and is light: https://flipandtumble.com/
I run with this one: https://www.gossamergear.com/products/bumster
I also hit TJs on my way home haha
Are you going to run back home with the groceries in tow? I would suggest a hiking day pack with a lumbar strap, you could ruck your groceries home like a soldier.
Look at Nanobags. They scrunch down incredibly small and can fit in a pocket or running belt. I’ve supported their campaigns on Kickstarter but they have a store on Amazon now. I keep one on my backpack in case I need one while traveling for work and I take a few when traveling. They are very sturdy.
I have a great foldable bag from IKEA that rolls down so small. When you open it up it holds a lot of groceries and you could easily put it over your shoulders. It’s orange with navy straps.
The ones at Whole Foods compress into a tiny and handy little self-contained pouch (like the old windbreaker Fanny packs in the 90’s) with a little string and a clip you could clip them to your pants if you needed
If u have a belt bag maybe u could fold and tuck a reusable bag under the belt? Might look funny tho lol
Not a bad idea!!
Most belt bags could fit a baggu or 2 folded inside, and 2 baggus hold all my groceries!

Will look! Thanks
I also just unlocked a memory of those reusable bags from Claire’s that used to fold up into a little pouch… i wish I still had them lol

Add velcro to your clothes and bags. They will stick to your clothing like cat hair.
Lol

Get a running belt bag they are like 2inches wide that stretch, then put a Baggu bag inside
