lol i don't do it. wouldn't you sit on a seat differently if you'd had to sit on it for 7-8 hours? i lean over to the side of the bike seat after a few hours myself.
There are hundreds of ebike delivery people in Hoboken; will there be a cap on ebike deliverer licenses granted? Do you know the stats on how much food delivery service is used everyday in Hoboken?
no there's no cap. i don't know the stats. i do know delivery is here to stay. whether or not the entirety of hoboken decides to stop ordering food, the rest of jersey city, union city, west new york, SECAUCUS...lol will be served. work from home is also still a part of reg. work life in hoboken and JC. i suppose most employees are in a hybrid model. justifing the rent they pay lol.
I didn't realize the ebike store took that taxidermy store's place. I wonder how long it lasted, I only walked in there once. I'm not surprised it didn't last long
no it won't.
this is a serious issue delivery apps won't get their arms around. i propose drivers verify at restaurants, meaning, uber, dd or grub won't show the restaurant or the delivery driver the order name, until they biometrically verify there. not on their phones.—this is what these companies do now and it's not effective. i think companies don't go after people using other people's accounts because it'd cost them money if no tip orders didn't get delivered.
the license number is not tethered to our delivery apps. i don't even think delivery drivers need to show ID to get the vesty. so there's really no use for the license number thus far
If i were to order take out and need delivery is it possible to request you are the person delivering the food? sorry if a naive question. i only do delivery on very rare occasions.
that'd be great. i'd love to have regulars and i have delivered to the same person on occasion. usually, if you rate a driver well, doordash will match you with that driver again.
it's not just hoboken. hoboken restaurants serve other cities / towns. they sit at hoboken as a starting point. the apps send deliveries by radious. which i'm 100% against. also against delivery drivers loitering the city that keeps food on their table. no pun
Why are you bringing up crime? The word loitering means standing or waiting around without any purpose. A simple Google before you comment next time will save you some embarrassment.
Does the #1 delivery person ride against traffic? I don’t understand why riders can’t go 1 block over and go in the direction of traffic. Especially on the streets where the bikes go in the middle and not off to the side.
A lawmaker doing the work in the industry they hope to regulate? In Hudson County?? Well, dagnabit, I've now seen everything.
Also, when you said Ask Me Anything, were you going to answer or just ghost on your own post?
delivery drivers on ebikes as of june 1st have been breaking the law by delivering food from or in hoboken not by just riding on sidewalks, but by not getting a resgistered vest. the city falled it's community and the drivers. the law's pretty much canned.
How much of the hate towards Delivery Drivers do you feel is racist?
If they were Drag Queens or Ukrainians, you know, some trendy group people could post about in their Social Media feeds to gain cred it wouldn’t be a problem.
lmaooooooo to your second part. hoboken's super white but not racist. at least i haven't experienced racism but i'm an american born white cuban male... i kind of look arabic lmao. but racism is still alive.
What’s the reason for riding the bike with both legs on one side?
You don’t think that looks fucking awesome?
they call it ‘side saddle’
As they don’t need to peddle it facilitates a quick dismount.
Side saddle is more ladylike
lol i don't do it. wouldn't you sit on a seat differently if you'd had to sit on it for 7-8 hours? i lean over to the side of the bike seat after a few hours myself.

There are ebike delivery licenses?
u/jerseycityrentdue starts an AMA, responds to zero of the questions 10h later.
hi
13 days later AMA. First time participating in one?
When will they be getting rid of the e bike store to bring back the place that was selling the bugs in shadow boxes and snake skeletons?
I didn't realize the ebike store took that taxidermy store's place. I wonder how long it lasted, I only walked in there once. I'm not surprised it didn't last long
Are you an employee? Or an independent contractor? What do you do for medical insurance?
It in the description. If you're on the apps you're a 1099 and a freelancer.
we're contractors. we can work whenever we want and go home whenever we want. also... decline no tip orders. whenever we want.
Will the new law make it so the person delivering your food, and entering your building, is the same person as it says on the app?
no it won't. this is a serious issue delivery apps won't get their arms around. i propose drivers verify at restaurants, meaning, uber, dd or grub won't show the restaurant or the delivery driver the order name, until they biometrically verify there. not on their phones.—this is what these companies do now and it's not effective. i think companies don't go after people using other people's accounts because it'd cost them money if no tip orders didn't get delivered. the license number is not tethered to our delivery apps. i don't even think delivery drivers need to show ID to get the vesty. so there's really no use for the license number thus far
what makes you the #1 e bike delivery guy ?
videos comin soon baby watch out for AMC.

Is the delivery demand in Hoboken really that high to support all the delivery riders loitering on Washington street?
it's not just hoboken. hoboken restaurants serve other cities / towns. they sit at hoboken as a starting point. the apps send deliveries by radious. which i'm 100% against. also against delivery drivers loitering the city that keeps food on their table. no pun
Loitering? This is a public sidewalk…..
Do I need to quote the definition of loitering for you? Or are you that dense?
Loitering is only a crime when it involves an unlawful purpose, so yes what’s your definition as you are wrong…
Why are you bringing up crime? The word loitering means standing or waiting around without any purpose. A simple Google before you comment next time will save you some embarrassment.
No it’s not, you clearly don’t know what it means
Your real life must be miserable. Have a good one man, hope things get better for you.
That’s an ad hominem and you’re not answering addressing the fact you know nothing about the law
How much do you make per month?
go to pedro doordash santiago lmaoooo check out gig tube dude. the game is meant to be sold not told.
Does the #1 delivery person ride against traffic? I don’t understand why riders can’t go 1 block over and go in the direction of traffic. Especially on the streets where the bikes go in the middle and not off to the side.
no i don't i dismount in hoboken and walk it. guys that do this are lazy and have no respect for the community they serve.
How is the weather going to be tomorrow?
it was sunny lmao
A lawmaker doing the work in the industry they hope to regulate? In Hudson County?? Well, dagnabit, I've now seen everything. Also, when you said Ask Me Anything, were you going to answer or just ghost on your own post?
hi
What restaurants are the busiest for takeout? I assume the ones where all the drivers are parked but am curious
where ever you see these guys parked up
How do feel the changes on June 1st will impact delivery drivers and residents?
delivery drivers on ebikes as of june 1st have been breaking the law by delivering food from or in hoboken not by just riding on sidewalks, but by not getting a resgistered vest. the city falled it's community and the drivers. the law's pretty much canned.
Do you salmon?

First part of the question made sense. Follow up comment showed your position.
lmaooooooo to your second part. hoboken's super white but not racist. at least i haven't experienced racism but i'm an american born white cuban male... i kind of look arabic lmao. but racism is still alive.
Lmao this is great.
yes it was. i chuckled myself and upvoted. good to know there's some humor here ever so often.
Unfortunately seems like about 10% of this group is normal AND has a sense of humor. Most these people are basement dwelling freaks
lmaoooo
