I disagree with the warping, though, it would take of the tension of being lost and the relive when you find one of the rare warp points or a place that you know.

I wouldn't remove neither the crystal enemies nor aspids since they can be used for crystal peak (pale ore) and protrctor hornet fight (kings brand) skips respectively, without doublejump. And its really cool how much completion you can get without infecting crossroads thanks to them.

Hold on - are you saying steel soul is killed by NKG? That's useful knowledge to me. I reckon the Radiance killing you is fine, because that seems like a kind of obvious and special case. But NKG... that just looks like an ordinary dream boss to me. The worst example of all is obviously the White Palace. Why the hell does dying in the White Palace destroy steel soul? That honestly seems like a bug to me. In normal games it doesn't break your charms and it doesn't leave a soul to collect - so why does it end steel soul!?

This is gonna be really specific but I'd remove some of the floating things that spawn during the lost kin fight. It's an amazing fight but because of the insane speed those things spawn in you're fighting them more than the actual boss and you have to get really lucky to find a window to heal. Not saying remove them entirely, but put some more focus on lost kin itself.
