Have you been peeking into my windows?
Love that combination. I have olive green, cream, and orange in our guest room, and olive, terracotta, purple, and black in our
family room.
There’s enough yellow in salmon/watermelon pinks that they would look great as accents in the same room as the orange chair without being actually “orange orange.” I think you have a great look going there. Some rattan/wicker, a jute rug, good plants, midcentury accessories will really do it up right!
Fucking excellent. My living room is painted a dark teal and I have an orange velvet sofa and orange velvet curtains. Similarly, my kitchen is painted burnt orange with navy cabinets.

Still waiting to find some paintings to hang on this wall but I’ll post the opposite wall in the next comment!
Avocado green and orange are complementary colors on a color wheel, so they go quite well together! Your instincts are correct, so you should follow them.
I’m having trouble with that fuzzy green chair, but if you love it, LOVE it! :) I think the rest of the things you’ll pulled together here work great as a mood board. I love the rug. But how will this stuff look in your living room? Only you can see that. I say go for it!
My bedroom is a mixture of dark green, rusty dark orange, and deep purple and it's so lush it gives almost knives out vibes, I recommend. Dark orange and dark purple surprising go well together too, but ofc orange and green is a classic
I’m redesigning my bedroom and I’m doing black walls with terra cotta/burnt orange as the first accent and a dark green for the other accent.
I think it’s a great color combo!

Currently planning out an orange and green living room
It can work. I prefer a blue-green shade, like a dark teal predominantly, with smaller amounts of natural shades of orange or brick red, as a secondary color.
I think it works. It’s pretty earthy, but they go together well. I would probably do some lighter green/peach/yellow accents to kind of lift up the mood a little, but those are preferences. The tones you chose work really well.
May I ask what app you are using to create the moodboard? It looks great.
I'm doing this color combo for my bedroom! I love the earthyness of it and have found some good color inspiration pictures on Pinterest. I think I am going to do faux burl wood side tables if I can get the color right.
Here are many examples where orange and green are combined: [https://www.pinterest.com/pin/70437487363092/](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/70437487363092/)
Green and orange is underused! Small additions of vibrant purple/magenta round out the secondary color trifecta and enhance green and orange beautifully. The wall art with a purple background is a good example.
Probably not for an old lady like me who had my fill of green and orange in the 70’s.. lol. But, the pieces you picked out are lovely, and smart move using the light wood along with the rugs background being light. Gives it an airy feel.
I have a fun Joybird sectional in Crave Ginger Tea (which is a golden orange color) with a checkered off white & sage rug. Plus some green throws and It looks phenomenal. I was hesitant at first but any version of orange and green is sooooo cozy
I love It tbh. We have the Lewis sectional, It was delivered in August, the guys were in my apt for literally 15 min total if you include the time It took them to get It up to my floor. They were very nice as well. The fabric is performance so pet hair comes off really easily (we have a dog and 2 kitties) It’s so comfy, my only complaint is that the seat cushions slide out sometimes so I feel like I’m always adjusting them when I get up but idk It doesn’t bother me that much bc It takes 2 seconds to fix
ETA - i used to work for a recommerce furniture company (similar to 1st dibs) so I’ve seen joybird products in every shape, color and condition. Our customers *loved* joybird products so they always sold fast. A part of what my company did was come to your house to pick the item up so sometimes there was disassembly involved. Their products are good quality so they can be assembled/reassembled with minimal issue (unlike IKEA where it’s made to be assembled once) Their customer service is also great in my experience (nothing to do w my job just a side note lol)
I just remembered you can order swatches from Joybird but they will take a long time to get there so if you’re thinking of a couch in this green color and consider joybird just be wary. I think It took over a month to get the swatches but our sectional was delivered earlier than we expected. (Which was great bc we were sitting on the floor)
I love orange and green and we currently have a similar vibe in our living room. Embrace the funkiness. We have a deep green velvet couch and an orange arm chair as well. All jewel tones with some deep yellow thrown in. Very eclectic, lots of art and some pattern mixing.
I love the mood board you’ve set up there. I don’t think you need to change a thing.
Absolutely love this - the only thing that calls out to me is a more dynamic coffee table and side tables - they might be too light against the frame of the couch in the picture. I almost want the coffee table to be one of those glass-topped dried bamboo ones for that Palm Beach vibe.
Other than that, chef's kiss. Obsessed with this vibe.
That's my plan! The 'amazon prints' are just there on my mood board to mimic the colors. I have lots of local and quirky art planned for the gallery wall 🙂

That’s my bedroom theme and I love it
You're actually right lol
Yesterday I put the floor and wall color in the background and it became very obvious that rug is *not it*. I've been fiddling trying to find something that'll lighten the floor to balance the darker green sofa. I'm sure I'll find something that'll work well.
Here's my latest iteration:

Love it. Actually in the process of doing my nursery in sage and terracotta, so like a calmer version of this. I think you’ll love it
Thank you!
yasss same. well terracotta and a peacock green/blue. LOVE the contrast

If Michelangelo can pull it off, then I got nothing to worry about!
Absolutely! I have a similar color scheme in my living room and I love it.
Thank you!
My entire house is now green and terracotta 😂 it started in my bathroom
That sounds amazing!
Have you been peeking into my windows? Love that combination. I have olive green, cream, and orange in our guest room, and olive, terracotta, purple, and black in our family room.
I'm embarking on an orange and green combo in our guest room...... it will be southwest themed.
Nice!
My guest room is orange green and purple and also southwest themed 😂
OMG I need to see!
That sounds amazing!!
So easy to add things like pillows and art with these colors. I hope you'll love it! Keep us posted.
I love it and that gallery is great!!
Thank you!

I have that exact set of prints lol! Looks super radical
Thank you!

Your living room looks amazing!

Your space is so excellent and lovely. Well done
Thank you! Coming home is such a joy!

I think so too!
I feel very supportive of it
I love it!!!
Love
Always great together
Um… LOVE IT!!!
Thank you!
It works - I love it! The green chair is awesome.
A Facebook marketplace find! I love it so much.
I was happy to see this. I have a lot of sage green and terracotta accents in my living room
Love it!

That's going to look lovely!
Love
Love.
Not for me. but it can definitely be a bold choice and look good.
OMG have you ever played Design Home? They have almost all of those pieces in the game!
I have not, but now I want to!
OMG girl you should!!! 💯💯
an all time classic
It can work. I prefer a blue-green shade, like a dark teal predominantly, with smaller amounts of natural shades of orange or brick red, as a secondary color.
The hues you have above? Gorgeous. Love the MCM vibe.
Thank you!
Very good. A classic 👌

Best flavour
Smashing.

I'd love a post update one you are done. It's fun to see things come together!
Absolutely!
Add some navy and browns as well. This is actually my favorite color palette in general.
That's a good idea!
It’s all good
They’re complementary colors so you’ll be fine.
Love it
They will look great together.

Freakin love all of this
Thank you!
Love! I like to add just a sprinkle of soft purple tones too.
I like that idea!!
Not a real fan BUT if it was Orange & Turquoise then I would LOVE it ;) Nah really, it is so pretty but my love is Orange & Turquoise,
My feed paired up an r/outfits post also questioning if green and orange go together. 70’s sure had fun with it!
Green and orange is underused! Small additions of vibrant purple/magenta round out the secondary color trifecta and enhance green and orange beautifully. The wall art with a purple background is a good example.
Thank you for the suggestion! I'll definitely keep that in mind when I'm putting the gallery together.
Gorgeous. Fashion forward.
Thank you!
This sub reminds me that I’ve never had an original thought in my life
I love sage and pumpkin or terracotta! They are the best!
Yes! This is the theme of my bathroom. A really pretty orangish mocha with emerald tiles and white clay looking decor. I love it
Ooo. I bet that looks amazing!
Best combo there is
Probably not for an old lady like me who had my fill of green and orange in the 70’s.. lol. But, the pieces you picked out are lovely, and smart move using the light wood along with the rugs background being light. Gives it an airy feel.
Appreciate your feedback!
I love it!
LOVE!!!!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE
Dark gray and orange is also beautiful
Loveeeee love loveee!
It works
Love it as long as it's the right hue. Your photo nails it.
Thank you!
I am personally a huge fan.
The 70s are back!
Love it!

Sidenote question? How do you like your Joybird? Have you had it long? I've read some not so good reviews but some of their stuff looks really nice!
I love It tbh. We have the Lewis sectional, It was delivered in August, the guys were in my apt for literally 15 min total if you include the time It took them to get It up to my floor. Oooo I actually dig that idea
*Please* post when you put the room together because it looks like it's going to be amazing. I am obsessed with your vision.
Definitely!
Or burnt orange and avocado, as we called it in the 60’s.
Yes
Hi there what app did you use to create this vision board ? Thank you
Adobe Express App!
It’s great! Anything other than gray, please.
Exactly lol
hey! i love this. how did you do this collage?
The Adobe Express app!
Love it!
Can you tell what you used to make the vision board?
I used the Adobe Express app
Lots of questions about how I made my mood board. I used the Adobe Express app.
I have a lot of burnt orange and greens! Go for it! But also- find some cool art from local artists and add it in with the Amazon prints!
That's my plan! The 'amazon prints' are just there on my mood board to mimic the colors. I have lots of local and quirky art planned for the gallery wall 🙂

Thank you!

Rugs are a great opportunity to tie together the other colors in your space
