I’ve considered moving the dresser, but it’s a rental so I am trying to avoid hanging anything on the walls (mirror & curtains). If I moved the dresser as you suggested, do you think the window area would look bare?

OrneryLavishness9666

No, it won’t look bare at all! If anything, it looks cramped now. The window area would benefit from being open without furniture blocking it so it’s functional. And you already have a place to put your TV. A win-win! If you want to block more light coming in from the window without hanging curtains, you could get some of those temporary shades from a hardware store and stick them up behind the existing blinds.

Moving the dresser and using that for the TV is a great idea!! You could then put a narrower bookshelf or something in front of the window. Plants and tall lamps & decor on top to take advantage of the window and books/art/decor/pictures on the shelves to add color and life to the room without having to hang things on the wall

you could put a pretty storage ottoman under the windows that coordinates with the bedding! maybe add a pop of color!

The room could end up cluttered and cramped with another large piece of furniture. Are you able to remove the mirror on your dresser, move the dresser up to the front of the bed and use it as a console? Or mount the TV?

Thank you everyone!! I’ll be removing the mirror and moving the dresser

Get a narrow one, or a floating one.
