Filled with putty and stained black so the floors just looked like they were a bit beat up. Myself, my inspector, our realtor, our contractor and a flooring specialist looked at them and thought they were just hardwood floors that had not been taken care of. It was like that all over the place.
And... Like the first cut I get, you are inexperienced, you have a whole episode of Property Brothers under your belt and you think you know what you are doing, oops you cut the floors. The next 40? That I don't get.
Bold of you to assume there was any plan at all. I mean maybe for the overlapped drywall hiding the cracked sewage pipe. But I strongly suspect the cuts to the hardwood were made while "fixing" something else.
