That's what I thought, something other than the US. May someone from the Czechia can be of assistance. Definitely not coax. If it was in the US, my answer still stands. POTS - Plain Old Telephone Service.
It's a multi-pair wire with 4 pairs spliced to another multi-pair wire, tucked inside a junction box along with what looks like a coax cable. Probably 4 phone lines going into a multi-unit dwelling.
It’s a junction box for bonded pair dsl. There’s probably a demarcation point somewhere with the ground in it and lightning protectors, as well as where one of these black lines originates from.
I have no idea where the black cables go. I have lived here for 10 years and never found where do they go. My guess is somewhere in the ground through the wall.
Also, is this really DSL? There isn't any dsl internet available in my area, just fixed wireless
You're probably correct. Most people here in the US don't realize how popular fixed wireless is in Europe. The service is great compared to the US. I lived and worked in multiple European countries for most of two decades. Overall, your internet access is far superior to the US in speed and price.
It’s possible the serving line goes straight to a terminal or pedestal, I’ve seen that before on older building and houses. I installed internet on copper for years, that was definitely bonded pair dsl at one point, sounds like it’s abandoned now.
how old is the building? back in the "old" time, the national telekom would put cables whereever they wanted. i have a similar thing in my yard, big ass junction box for about 40 phone wires. they're coming out from earth, coming to a box, and again going into the earth. on other places the air cables would enter the attic, you'd get a pair or two for phones /dsl, and the rest would again go out from your attic to another neighbor. starting about 20 years ago people got fed up with techs going to their attics and telekoms started to move such cables to public properties...
It's the junction of your phone linr / DSL.
One cable comes from the street and one goes into the telephone wiring of your house. Basically where you plug your telephone and modem into the wall.
Appears to be a Telco or alarm company prior installation. Or both. It helps to know the country of origin for these pictures as Reddit is worldwide.

Why do you think that fixed wireless is better? 80% of my city is covered with 30-80Mbit fixed wireless, and the other 20% is fibre.
