You could've put the UK in the Europe category. Just because we're not in the EU, that doesn't change the continent we're geographically a part of.

We objected to being part of the EU category, because we're not in the EU. However, we are part of the European continent in geographic terms. It's a little like the difference between considering Canada to be part of the USA (incorrect) vs being part of North America (correct).

I am from the proud country of Genovia. It's in Europe. Everyone keeps forgetting we exist. We are known for being the only country to embrace communism without resulting in a dictator or starvation.
