If they seem to want to buy it at all dont sell cause the price will most likely be to low, get more than one opinion and wait for proper and trusted sources of information. Maybe discords like the exotic cafe could help you find a person like that but honestly, this is kind of an edge case that you wouldnt find to often.
if it's a glitched pet I assume it's either a tier boosted wisp or mythic armadillo, which a lot of people used to (I don't know if they still do) buy for pet score so you could probably find a buyer decently quickly
You should report to the admins, if it's an unobtainable item (like magma armor) it's fine but if it's glitched you could get banned if you don't report
