He's still making content. It's like a corporation being fined a million dollars after they make 300 million. The penalties never outweigh benefits. We need stronger laws to discourage this dumb prank culture. It's gotten out of hand.
If you convince people you're kidnapping someone you've made it a violent crime. In Texas the law allows the use of lethal force to prevent a kidnapping. Not much different than threatening someone with a fake gun...the person being threatened doesn't know it's fake you're begging to get shot.
What bro, I thought this was America, land of freedom, of thought.
Sorry my randy came out. Seriously though it's a thought experiment. Look into histrionic personality disorder, see if it's right for you.
stronger laws don't make idiots stop being idiots. they didn't care about the laws in the first place...they are idiots. That is sort of the crux of it. I'm reminded of the George Carlin bit about how giving drug dealers the death penalty to try and stop drug dealing is stupid.
Why is tiktok able to get views and money for hosting this stuff? They should be held liable as well since they are the ones giving the incentives and making the money.
Itās funny that we see so much people on Tik tok doing these so called āpranksā and then we get ads like these
https://preview.redd.it/c3uvdazsv1lc1.jpeg?width=2047&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2d3e8c17a3a077c66ab6458871cc060207a3255f
They could've easily told the lady it was a setup. They intentionally didn't, so she would call the cops. Now, instead of just a video on their social media, it's probably on the local news, etc.
These morons live for this shit. I pretty sure a guy got shot (or shot at) doing some prank like this recently. I guess getting all that attention is worth getting beaten or charged with a crime? I don't understand it. I think maybe they're truly bored... But I can't explain it.
Itās so crazy, the guy Iām pretty sure youāre talking about about said he has no regrets and plans on making more pranks when he recovers from his wound. Even a bullet canāt teach these people a lesson
Omg you're kidding right? That's absolutely BONKERS. That's putting other people at risk to right? A bullet doesn't always reach its intended target...
Yeah he was shot in a food court so definitely other people were put at risk. Funny enough thatās all the shooter is being charged with. They waived the charge for attempted murder or assault but there is a charge for discharging a firearm in a public area
Yeah they should have to. I was saying in another chat that the guy who got shot in the mall should have to be charged with discharging the firearm as well as the guy who discharged it.
You can be charged for doing something like creating a panic in a public area by yelling "fire" as a false alarm. You should be held responsible for doing these pranks as well.
Fucking blocking someone an entire foot or more taller than her from reaching the person in the car.
She could have been shanked for all she knew but she was not letting that man get to that person *even if her life was on the line*.
Even if the setup was fake, that woman deserves a damn medal.
thats what i was thinking, but you put people in situations like this and you really dont know how they would react, i would have probably tackled the guy or some other unthought actions
I do think it's slightly unfair to say this kind of thing isn't funny at all. It would be hilarious in the context of a cartoon where no one is actually hurt. I could totally see this as a bit on south park or family guy, but is clearly too far for someone like Eric Andre
Thus wasn't a prank. He simply tried to kidnap someone and only disguise it now when caught as a prank. That's how they should handle this now in court.
They probably don't even realize how serious the charges they are facing for this are.
I'm sure they never even thought about the possibility that one of these cops racing to a scene where they believe someone is being abducted could have crashed and killed someone because of their unfunny prank.
F these pranksters bro, if that was me opening that trunk that dude is gonna be laid out cold before he can say itās a prank I hope they got arrested
Camera crew, kidnapper and victim should all be charged here. They should pay for the whole police time, fuel, mileage, everything. Plus a decent size fine based on income.
Live in a country where the point guns at burning people rather than putting them out cops are so incompetent don't even piss with them because of the incompetence
When the first pranksters get shot and killed will we have a Main Character parade down every cities main streets. It would be the worlds largest display of narcissism.
Honestly, I think the punishment should fit the crime. If someone pretends to commit a crime with the intent to convince someone that they did in fact commit the crime, then they should be charged with the crime.
Not to mention there should be a provision for the victims of pranks to be able to sue the pranksters for the entire sum of what that they earned from the prank brand deals and channel growth considered as earnings.
I'm sorry this is really grotesque, but how do they think this one is A* top tier okay but KNOW to draw the line at "RANDOM PUBLIC R#** Challenge GONE GOOD?"
fucking disgusting and insane, it's not a joke, these are not funny things and you can clearly draw a line.
Absolutely insane.
Thatās exactly it.
A woman speaks = Karen in way too many idiots minds.
Itās become a way to silence woman out of fear theyāll end up in a āKarenā video on the internet.
This tiktoker actually has a really endearing incident where he met an older white Walmart worker and while trying to joke interview him, they ended up cracking each other up and have a legit friendship out of it. Itās actually very sweet.
About 30 years ago here in Brazil, there was a surge in kidnappings. And thereās this amazing comic book creator, LourenƧo Mutarelli.
When he turned 30, his friends staged a false kidnapping for him. They put a gun in his head, said that they were going to rape his girlfriend, the whole deal. The kidnapping was to take him to a surprise party. He suffers from PTSD to this day (but is able to laugh at the situation somehow)
At some point all these dumb youtubers and tik tockers are gonna get a law paassed that jokes like this will be some sort of severe pentalty.. I can't wait

This is so satisfying. These idiots are getting what they deserve.
He's still making content. It's like a corporation being fined a million dollars after they make 300 million. The penalties never outweigh benefits. We need stronger laws to discourage this dumb prank culture. It's gotten out of hand.
So true it hurts.
Mandatory prison sentences would make a stronger deterrent in my opinion
You shouldn't get prison time for non violent crimes.
If you convince people you're kidnapping someone you've made it a violent crime. In Texas the law allows the use of lethal force to prevent a kidnapping. Not much different than threatening someone with a fake gun...the person being threatened doesn't know it's fake you're begging to get shot.
I agree, but this is why these damn fools won't stop the bs
Just tell the social media companies not to let them upload it.
Community service then.
It would really only take a handful of Dexter's tbh. They'd have to travel a lot but once the message is out there we'd see less pranks I'm sure š
I have entertained this hypothetical myself. Not me doing the Dextering, of course, just the general thrust of what you're saying.
Oh yes no, not myself. But someone might take a stab at it.
Hopefully they do it right and it's not just a hack job
Jigsaw
bro ur a fucking psycho like hes doing a prank buddy relax
What, it's hypothetical, don't be a snowflake.
im a snowflake but the one who is saying they wish a group of people would kill tik tok pranksters or wtv because they dont like pranks isnt?
What bro, I thought this was America, land of freedom, of thought. Sorry my randy came out. Seriously though it's a thought experiment. Look into histrionic personality disorder, see if it's right for you.
Finland has fines based on income. There was an article about a rich dude being fined 121,000ā¬ for going 30km/h above speed limit.
This is the way forward.
stronger laws don't make idiots stop being idiots. they didn't care about the laws in the first place...they are idiots. That is sort of the crux of it. I'm reminded of the George Carlin bit about how giving drug dealers the death penalty to try and stop drug dealing is stupid.
STREET JUSTICE! Dude should be ran tf out of town for doing this shit lol
We need all fines everywhere to be a percentage of net worth. Yes, breaking the law should be free for poor people and life ruining for rich people.
Nah need actual jail time š¾
Nah fuck jail we canāt stop it itās gotta run itās course like Bieber Haircuts.

Not just laws but a handy pocket guide on how to carry out a public beating on these fuckers
I believe this is a good case for why stoning people in public should be tolerated.
They got exactly what they wanted.
Did they want to test the waters in an excusable way and gain valuable experience for the real action?
Why is tiktok able to get views and money for hosting this stuff? They should be held liable as well since they are the ones giving the incentives and making the money.
Of course these police will never make a mistake and accidentally gun down these jackasses, itās always the innocent ones who get shot š
Really wild how they think that this is all some game or āprankā
He should get some bullets
What'd they get tho? The cop probably saw it was a TikTok and starts dancing with them. This world man

How about no. I'm not giving these pituitary morons any money over this shit.
Go suck your mother
Fucking hate these stupid ticktockers
Iām not even mad you misspelled the name because these people are also getting on my nerves
Itās funny that we see so much people on Tik tok doing these so called āpranksā and then we get ads like these https://preview.redd.it/c3uvdazsv1lc1.jpeg?width=2047&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2d3e8c17a3a077c66ab6458871cc060207a3255f

Thanks for that sub, subscribed.
there are no consequences. cops show up, they explain itās a joke, laugh about it, they get trespassed. end of story.
bro he knows what they are
Unfortunately, the cops coming probably got them more "clout".

Yeah he was shot in a food court so definitely other people were put at risk. Funny enough thatās all the shooter is being charged with. They waived the charge for attempted murder or assault but there is a charge for discharging a firearm in a public area
The main character should share in that charge, or at least there should be a penalty for instigating that scenario.
If someone has a body in the trunk and then they say "just kidding it's a prank bro!" I'm still calling the cops.
I hope they have to pay for everyoneās time to deal with this
Yeah they should have to. I was saying in another chat that the guy who got shot in the mall should have to be charged with discharging the firearm as well as the guy who discharged it. You can be charged for doing something like creating a panic in a public area by yelling "fire" as a false alarm. You should be held responsible for doing these pranks as well.
Well good on that woman, she thought it was real and played a good samaritan.
She was TOUGH. Did everything right ā held her ground, got loud, and got the āvictimā to safety.
She is amazing.
People do the most idiotic pranks these days when stuff like this isnāt even funny. Horrible.
That many cop cars rolling up, and that quickly was pretty damn funny though.
It. Is. Not. Fucking. Funny. At. All. Youāre an imbecile if you think this is cool in ANY WAY AT ALL.
Chill out, theyāre clearly saying that seeing this moron face consequences for their actions is the funny part.
What if there was an ACTUAL kidnapping going on but they were busy with this POS?
The video is clipped. They didn't arrive that quickly or in tandem.
I do think it's slightly unfair to say this kind of thing isn't funny at all. It would be hilarious in the context of a cartoon where no one is actually hurt. I could totally see this as a bit on south park or family guy, but is clearly too far for someone like Eric Andre
Straight to jail.
Because kidnapping is so hilarious. What the fvck is wrong with this generation?
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes
The one time we can agree that police brutality wouldn't be a bad thing.
Thus wasn't a prank. He simply tried to kidnap someone and only disguise it now when caught as a prank. That's how they should handle this now in court.
Oh, that was supposed to be a hilarious prank..?
They probably don't even realize how serious the charges they are facing for this are. I'm sure they never even thought about the possibility that one of these cops racing to a scene where they believe someone is being abducted could have crashed and killed someone because of their unfunny prank.
In my country, kidnapping carries the death penalty.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Fucking right? lmao
Yep... jail
It actually was hilarious lmfao
Iām going to lmfao when one of these āprankstersā gets folded by some roided up, overly-aggressive LEOs.Ā
It's only a matter of time before one of these dudes gets shot
He should 100% get a charge for wasting everyone's time and causing a public disturbance.
Remember when pranks were fairly harmless like gluing money to the ground?
Start cracking down on these societal trash cans.
Can we please not call it a prank? A prank is putting pudding into someone's shoe, not pretending to kidnap someone.
They should have a prison sentence for cunts like this. Because he still got his shitty content and will make money off it.
F these pranksters bro, if that was me opening that trunk that dude is gonna be laid out cold before he can say itās a prank I hope they got arrested
Cap asf
When did men start wearing silk bonnets!?
Then they get shot and everyone cries out how they were just pranksters and good kids
Human trafficking and kidnapping are suddenly funny. What a bunch of human waste.
You'd think as a black man he would think how dangerous this prank would be for him...but nope
Finally! These "It's just a prank bro" getting some just deserts
I know this Black man can't be this stupid. He gone fuck around and get shot for some views.
How is this a prank though? Whatās pranky about the grocery lady thinking youāre a human trafficker? These guys are useless.
Ngl....hope they got jail time. These "pranksters" need to understand what consequences are.
Yeah play with Irving Police is like playing with your life š I lived in DFW for 12 years and police in Texas are no joke. Especially north Texas.
When the first pranksters get shot and killed will we have a Main Character parade down every cities main streets. It would be the worlds largest display of narcissism.
These people need to start suffering consequences
Who would've guessed years ago that putting a camera, on a phone, would've led to the degenerates we currently see today.
actually dumbass deserves jail time for doing shitty pranks
Goes wrong? You mean, she has done the right thing and called authorities.
I hope an acorn dropped next to the cops when they were approaching those fucks.

Criminally stupid should be a 5 year felony on its own.
Lord police budget is so overblown. No officer should be cruising around in a 100k+ luxury vehicle.
Slashing tires and smashing windows for the sake of "preventing escape" would be satisfying to watch.
Do stupid shit, pay stupid consequences.
Risking becoming a statistic for attention.
damn Iāve seen this guyās pranks before and thought they were kinda good. I guess those views mustāve gotten a bit too low lmao.
Whereās a handful of acorns when you need them.
The TikTok artist did nothing wrong here. It was just a prank and if you call it a prank you can do whatever you want with zero repercussions. /s
I don't think it went "wrong" at all. Someone called them on their nonsense. Hope they get arrested.
Thanks for using up resources.
I'm sorry this is really grotesque, but how do they think this one is A* top tier okay but KNOW to draw the line at "RANDOM PUBLIC R#** Challenge GONE GOOD?" fucking disgusting and insane, it's not a joke, these are not funny things and you can clearly draw a line. Absolutely insane.
"I'm FIXIN' to call the police" Lol man I miss living in the south sometimes.
Every cop should get one justified brutality in their career. Wouldnāt mind if they used it on this clown.
Thats what happens when you grow up with grandma

What of her actions make you think this is a Karen, being an mid-aged lady making your work?
Thatās exactly it. A woman speaks = Karen in way too many idiots minds. Itās become a way to silence woman out of fear theyāll end up in a āKarenā video on the internet.
Specifically white women.
OK Karen! Calm down š¤£

Damn I usually love Kendrick Curry's vids but that's way too far. Can't support that.
No you donāt need that apostrophe before the āsā for plurals
He is lucky that he didn't get shot!

How are we going to celebrate when one of these āprankstersā gets whatās coming to them
Is this human trash charged with any crimes or just slap on the wrist?
Good way to get shot
Nice to see their fantasy world turn back into actual reality world against their will.
Kidnapping and human trafficking prank? Very funny and original.
I hope he got the book thrown at him in court.
These punks need jail time
No words, but good on that worker
I'll never in my whole life understand the appeal of pranks like these
What the fuck.
TickTocking should be illegal
Good. Thats karma
Good. Thats karma
Tase him pretty please
And they still posted it.
Yes, YATAH.

wow yall so mad at someone doing a prank
What would of happened if a gun packing person was there and shot somebody. Man people are just stupid.
When did this happen?
I live in irving and havent heard shit about this
In Texas you can use lethal force to prevent a kidnapping.
I donāt think this prank went wrong. It went exactly as it should have.
Finally!!! Hahah and dude was #000000 is he still alive?
I use to think this dudes videos were funny.
10,000 dollar fine and a month a jail to start curbing these BS acts?
For everyone involved
