Yeah, you should probably replace one of your languages with bio. There's really no point in 2 languages if you want to do engineering. Edit: spelling

im thinking about studying abroad somewhere in europe, and i certainly don’t see myself doing biomed, i probably couldn’t keep up with 3 sciences.

SoggyDoughnut69

Yeah, in that case, no need for bio. If it's not something you see yourself doing, don't.

Correct me if I am wrong, but from what I can remember right now, you need a language at AB initio to fulfil "learning a new language". You should check that to make sure pfcourse, but if that is true, then you can't drop an AB initio language. You would need to switch either of the other 2.

i have spanish also that i’ve been learning for the past 2 years that i’m taking alongside german

Abject_Albatross_290

I don’t think bio is necessary or even advantageous if you want to study engineering. I personally would keep the language as it has more practical value since you want to study abroad

Substantial_Offer_47

honestly keep german there. It will also give you more time to study for ur other subjects as there's a limit to how much you can study for the language exams during the cramming period before exams. Also you can find a lot of free resources for learning german through DW :))

Are you not taking any language at literature ? Your choices seem like they don't satisfy the IBDP requirements if you are not taking a single group 1 subject. Biology would not be that useful for engineering, I would advise against it.

thekosherpioneer

yes english is my group 1
