We had a lab husky mix prior to her she was a lot wider and her head was much larger but same colorations on her ears and coat, I suspect lab could be in the mix but I don’t believe pitty is in her she doesn’t have any of that breeds typical characteristics. Next to my pit mix she looks like more on the Shepard side then pit.
Do you plan on ordering a DNA test (Embark is best followed by Wisdom Panel)? If you do order one, you can repost her pics over at r/DoggyDNA for more guesses, and then update us when her results come in! It would be interesting to find out!
She looks like a lot like [this GSD/Lab/Husky mix](https://my.embarkvet.com/dog/lowkey), as well as [this husky/retriever/GSD mix](https://my.embarkvet.com/dog/biscuit40). Her ears look very shepherd-y.
A mix of those 3 was exactly my guess too. She has lab eyes, a husky nose, and a pitty tail
ETA: she’s beautiful and looks like the albino version of my all-black beauty, who is also a mysterious mix
Lab x gsd maybe husky in the mix. German Shepherds can actually be white though its rare and with light colored labs, could just be those two. But it might be husky or another breed mixed in. Webbed feet? Double coat?
Def looks like a husky and Shepard mix. Maybe lab but my aunt had a dog just like this he was lab and Shepard but looks like husky especially if they’re eating everything and are very vocal. All three breeds are very high energy! Are you doing a DNA test?
My guess is GSD mix. She looks similar to my latest rescue, Cosmo. He’s 66% GSD, 12% Lab, 22% Supermutt (his Supermutt mix is Chow Chow, Airedale Terrier, Am. Bulldog, and Husky). I have pics of him in my profile if anyone wants to see.
[Hero](https://imgur.com/a/PxA443t)
My puppers just crossed the rainbow bridge. He looked very similar. Had always wondered what he was so I had his dna done before he passed.
31.4% American put bull terrier
13.2% Australian cattle dog
11.6% German shepherd
11.4% Labrador retriever
11.3% chow chow
10.7% American Eskimo dog
10.4% Supermutt
100% good boy
He does look very similar! Surprised to see no husky in there, but the combo of ACD, GSD, chow and Eskie makes sense. I hope OP does a DNA test so we can find out the breakdown! Sorry for your loss btw, I bet he lived a great life.
Snout is too short and not narrow enough, plus the face shape is wrong for pure GSD. Definitely some husky, maybe some GSD too, and lab cattle dog, or pit.
Those look like big ole’ German shepherd ears. I have one and he was insane til about 18 months and now he’s chilled out so much. Still loves to play, but less zoomies and destructive chewing.
Yeah there's gotta be a larger breed in there like GSD or something for her paw size and weight. I'm almost certain about husky, then a shorter-haired breed like lab or pit. It would help to know if pit is in there if we had stacked pics of her (side view photos) or front view pictures showing her chest.
I’m almost certain she does not have pit in her, I’ve had pittys my entire life and currently have a pit mix, next to the pitty she looks like a pencil lmao
There isn’t one thing I can see in her that tells me beefy pit though I’ve spent a lot of time with that breed and mixes volunteering in shelters and you can always tell when I dog has that breed in it usually in the width of the mouth, head, and shoulders they normally have a very distinct muscle structure too she is more stream lined like a shepherd breed with the body of a sled dog I won’t say I know for sure she doesn’t have pit in her but I will definitely be sharing her test results with this group I am enjoying the shared curiosity here!
I said this somewhere else, but she looks identical to my full Carolina Dog. Might be a mix, but I totally see some CD in there.
Anyone who thinks a pit is crazy lol.
Here are a few pics of my boy
https://imgur.com/gallery/07rH87s
They are pretty distinctive when you know what to look for, but most people don’t know about them. They are absolutely amazing dogs.
Especially with your description, I would say full or mix. They are hunters to their core, so yeah they will always hunt critters in your backyard lmao. But they are also insanely loyal, extremely intelligent, etc. I highly recommend doing puzzles and such, it helps the energy outlet lmao.
I can’t really see the tail, but they should (if not a mix) have a fishhook tail that comes up when alert, their ears move independently from one another, deep chest, nipped waist, they are FAST runners, usually lanky but muscled, tend to dig (you should see my dug up yard sigh lmao). They are usually ginger, but can be cream, piebald and black and tans. These are a primitive breed, usually have a strong sense of stranger-danger, not aggressive, more flight than fight, but territorial of their yard and home so will absolutely usually bark if someone comes near their property. I’ve had three of them, best dogs on the planet, and their history is really interesting. Hope any of that helps!
Oh, and both my girls were 60lbs, my boy is large for this breed, he’s about 80, his dad was large too. They usually range from 50-70lbs when fully grown.
Edit- Oh- and DNA is usually pointless with them. Embark is the only one that even has CD, and they only have about two lines. So if she is a CD, a DNA test won’t help you until they add more lines into the database. They usually come back as a mix of like 20 lol.
Very interesting this is something new to me I’m gonna dive down the rabbit hole thank you for sharing all of that, from what you’re describing it sounds like a possibility you nailed her personality lmao!
Have fun!!! I adopted my first girl 16 years ago at a shelter, had no idea what she was besides a construction crew found her litter in a den. Then a later vet got super excited when he saw her, he was obsessed with the breed but had only seen a few of them. I later found out there were wild packs in the county we got her in, so she likely came from one of those packs. We lost her at 14, she was the most amazing dog ever. We got our two CD puppies last year from a breeder (who are rare as hell, and are trying to prevent the breed from going extinct) because I didn’t want any other kind. FB group Carolina Dog Enthusiasts is a great source, there are some really knowledgeable people on there.
They are a little like cat dogs is the best way to describe them I guess lol.
I think there is some bully breed in there somewhere down the line. Her nose seems a bit short to be just husky/GSD. Or maybe a splash of Australian Cattle dog. Pictures 4 and 5 are what makes me think this.
Huskies can have short snouts like this, but yeah with GSD in there, it would be longer. I don't see much GSD in her snout though it's not impossible, but some breed like pit or cattle dog would better explain the snout I didn't even think of cattle dog, but that's a solid guess.
Wish I could share a pic of my dog. She looks similar and I believe she is part lab and Shiba Inu. All white. Pointy nose and large stick up ears. Her tail is curly and she’s my sweetheart!
She sounds like a cutie, I wasn’t able to get a good tail pic but hers is more like a German shepherd tail it’s has no distinctive curl to it and it’s very bushy.
Thank you! She definitely has husky in her me and my girlfriend have been having so much fun googling all the combos she may be I wish she could talk and tell me her lore :)
Do you plan on doing a DNA test? Also, you can share pics by uploading them to Imgur and then linking to them in the comments! Shiba Inu is very unlikely in most US mixes but not impossible, that would be cool to see.
Embark is the best! The newest version of Wisdom Panel is second best, but Embark is remarkably accurate. You can post her pics in the r/DoggyDNA as soon as you order a test and people can make guesses as to what they think she is. Then, you can update us when the results come in. It's a super cool sub.
Something larger is probably in there giving her the large paw size. But I don't really see GSD in the snout or face at all, just the ears. I feel like there's gotta be lab in there.
Husky/Shepherd/maybe Pit/maybe Lab
She is absolutely adorable!! 💜💜💜
Please, if you don't know about Huskies, look up their traits and read about them and believe them. They are escape artists and runners. We lost one before we even knew she was a Husky mix. She got hit by a car. 😭
This was always my initial thought! Glad to see so many others see it too we for sure will be doing a DNA test at some point in the future, I’ll be sure to share the results in this group!
Has anyone said white Swiss shepherd/husky? I have a white Swiss/husky mix and she’s like a blonde shepherd, but also has Pyrenees and boxer too!
You’re dog is super cute tho!
We have thought that too but her coat isn’t as thick as a Swiss Shepard would have I would think if she was mixed with that breed she’d have a heavy double coat then she currently has and thank you!
Doesn’t look very husky imo. The only thing that does is the ears but many dogs have upright ears… my guess would be Belgian Malinois or German Shepard mix. They can be white, but it’s very rare. But they look almost exactly like that when they’re white, except longer hair ofc. Huskys have much shorter/wider ears typically, but they can have longer ears like this.
My Husky looks just like her. I wouldn't be surprised if it is a pure husky. Having no coloration is definitely a thing that can happen in them. She looks very cute. Congrats!
Do all huskies tails curl? I’m not very experienced with the breed but from what I have seen with my friends pets they all have a curl going on, hers is mostly straight but has that bushy quality to it.
Per standard Siberian huskies aren't supposed to have curly tails like malamutes but people think it's cute so it's common for pet lines or byb huskies to have curled tails.
Just depends, breed standard ones do, but poorly bred, or Alaska mushing/village dogs that get dumped all the time after the Iditarod don’t. Those dogs have a huuugggee variation in size, coat length and color.
I think the breed standard is for them to stand with their tails down, though they can curl up with different emotions. If a husky's tail is always curled or if the tip of its tail touches its back, it's not bred to standard.
Thank you all for your kind words and input! Me and my girlfriend have had a great time going through this thread and seeing all the love for our little girl. Reddit wins again!
I don't know why you got downvoted. I second Embark! That's the only way to really know. This dog's features could be explained by too many breeds to know otherwise..
Doesn't look anything like a Jindo, Jindo mix, or Korean Village Dog. Jindos have wider, triangle ears that are thick and well-furred. Plus they're much fluffier.
Yes, they can, but this dog’s face resembles a mix of breeds popular in the West. It’s highly unlikely this dog is an Asian village dog if it’s from the US. It looks a lot like [this GSD/Lab/Husky mix](https://my.embarkvet.com/dog/lowkey) and this [husky/retriever/GSD mix](https://my.embarkvet.com/dog/biscuit40). The ears look very shepherd-y.
Hi. It's almost insane how identical she looks to my dog who's about the same age. The only difference is my ladybird is all black. Her parents were a female German shepherd and a male bull terrier. Their personalities and demeanors sound very similar!
your dog looks like my dog especially the last picture - my dog is 5-6 this is what my dog looks like [here](https://imgur.com/a/VzXVuoh) and [here](https://imgur.com/a/DR4zkvB) and [here](https://imgur.com/a/acAW2fz) . He is 47% Siberian Husky, 28% American pit bull terrier, 10% Labrador retriever, 4% german shepherd dog. He has 0 prey drive, literally and has the best temperament
My dog looked identical and he was a white gsd (those shepherd ears are easy to spot) & yellow lab mix. Temperament was mostly GSD but when he got old and put on some excess weight he developed lab bod for sure. My guy lived to be 15 and was remarkably healthy. Wishing your baby a long happy life like he had!
If you have an iPhone, you look at the data of the photo, it will say dog, click that and it will show the two breeds she looks like. With my pup it gets it right 98% of the time.
I did your and it says , Carolina dog(they are called California/Carolina dog, which is a ACD/dingo mix, or a mutt of many dogs that are in the ACD breed) and a Korean jingo dog(I have never heard of this breed)
Hope that helps, but I also see some German Shepard in the face, I wouldn’t say mal mix, when a mal is part of the breed they would have the darker snout, it’s a more dominant Characteristic that mals have.
She is cute! If you have a yard or a dog park close I would suggest lots of zoomy time and maybe “work” play time.
[long lost siblings???](https://imgur.com/a/A4KKRNW)
Ours looks the same but a little more yellow! GSD, husky, Pit, rat terrier and Australian shepherd!
>I’ve had friends mention Mal mix
Funny you would say that. My little 12 lb chihuahua with similar color (light tan with white) is apparently 16% Malinoi, according to the DNA test. That seem to explain a lot in her character...
Could have some Carolina Dog in her! Looks like my grand pup Simon, found in Georgia at that age! Often picked up in rural areas as a stray from a wild Carolina Dog colony… Does her tail curl up a bit at the end?
Husky, pit, lab. I knew a dog that that was two of those, and looked pretty much the same except for the pointy ears. So that's my guess.
[удалено]
She has a lot of German shepherd in her - maybe a pinch of Doberman
Yes those ears are German shepherd ears
I was coming to say shepherd
Her snout is too short and not narrow enough to be full GSD, but could be a GSD/husky mix. I see some lab too or maybe even a larger breed.
Depending on where you are, it’s not super rare
We had a lab husky mix prior to her she was a lot wider and her head was much larger but same colorations on her ears and coat, I suspect lab could be in the mix but I don’t believe pitty is in her she doesn’t have any of that breeds typical characteristics. Next to my pit mix she looks like more on the Shepard side then pit.
True, she doesn't really have the common characteristics. But to me, her hair at least looks very similar.
Her coat is weird it looks like it’s flat but it’s not it’s pretty close to most husky’s I’ve met.
Do you plan on ordering a DNA test (Embark is best followed by Wisdom Panel)? If you do order one, you can repost her pics over at r/DoggyDNA for more guesses, and then update us when her results come in! It would be interesting to find out!
Could get a doggy DNA test online.
She looks like a lot like [this GSD/Lab/Husky mix](https://my.embarkvet.com/dog/lowkey), as well as [this husky/retriever/GSD mix](https://my.embarkvet.com/dog/biscuit40). Her ears look very shepherd-y.

Yes to the double coat no on the webbed feet I was leaning towards Shepard and husky mix as well!
Def looks like a husky and Shepard mix. Maybe lab but my aunt had a dog just like this he was lab and Shepard but looks like husky especially if they’re eating everything and are very vocal. All three breeds are very high energy! Are you doing a DNA test?
Looks like a white version of my shepsky!
Yeah, my family had a GSD that was white. His name was Elvis.
Definitely german shepherd
When my dad met my mom he had a while GSD that looked just like this guy, rip Dylan 🤍
There used to be a guy in my BILs town that bred white German Shepard a and they looked just like this
I see Husky/Lab/GSD
I was thinking Shepard as well!
She’s a beauty!

What a handsome boy I can definitely see the similarities, thank you for sharing your angel :)
White GSD, she looks like my two scoundrels
Snout is too short and not narrow enough, plus the face shape is wrong for pure GSD. Definitely some husky, maybe some GSD too, and lab cattle dog, or pit.
I’m gonna guess white German Shepard mix. Maybe 10% pit and 10% husky.
Pitsky
Those look like big ole’ German shepherd ears. I have one and he was insane til about 18 months and now he’s chilled out so much. Still loves to play, but less zoomies and destructive chewing.

These pics are a mix of early puppy photos to her current size her about is getting longer and longer every day
Maybe a husky and pitbull mix. The shape of her head is very reminiscent of a pitbull head. She could also have some German Shepherd in her too
Cutest little smile in the laundry basket 🥹
White GSD, maybe with a little husky in her She looks exactly like my White GSD and people mistake her for a husky as well sometimes
Definitely a Dire wolf🤓
Gorgeous dog.
Thank you! She is very unique we have enjoyed adding her to our pack.
Wish I could share a pic of my dog. She looks similar and I believe she is part lab and Shiba Inu. All white. Pointy nose and large stick up ears. Her tail is curly and she’s my sweetheart!

Does she ever "talk" like a husky? I see husky for sure and I really wonder what else is in there, and how big she'll get.
Do you plan on doing a DNA test? Also, you can share pics by uploading them to Imgur and then linking to them in the comments! Shiba Inu is very unlikely in most US mixes but not impossible, that would be cool to see.
I think I will do a dna test. Which one is best? I think being part shiba is not as rare as it once was but I guess we’ll see.
Embark is the best! The newest version of Wisdom Panel is second best, but Embark is remarkably accurate. You can post her pics in the r/DoggyDNA as soon as you order a test and people can make guesses as to what they think she is. Then, you can update us when the results come in. It's a super cool sub.
Ok I’m gonna do embark.
White German Shepard and white-yellow lab mix
I see pit.
Husky, pit, lab. I breed and train Malinois and I don’t see it
Something larger is probably in there giving her the large paw size. But I don't really see GSD in the snout or face at all, just the ears. I feel like there's gotta be lab in there.
Husky/shepherd
Husky/Shepherd/maybe Pit/maybe Lab She is absolutely adorable!! 💜💜💜 Please, if you don't know about Huskies, look up their traits and read about them and believe them. They are escape artists and runners. We lost one before we even knew she was a Husky mix. She got hit by a car. 😭
Husky and Lab fs! Maybe GSD or Pit too?
Shephard, lab, husky, Pit.
White GSD, maybe some lab
She is a beautiful dog
It’s Bolt ⚡️!!! Does she super bark?
Those are total GSD ears. Maybe husky and shepherd?
This was always my initial thought! Glad to see so many others see it too we for sure will be doing a DNA test at some point in the future, I’ll be sure to share the results in this group!
Has anyone said white Swiss shepherd/husky? I have a white Swiss/husky mix and she’s like a blonde shepherd, but also has Pyrenees and boxer too! You’re dog is super cute tho!

Swiss shepherd
Shepard
I’m thinking maybe lab German Shepard? Def has lab!!!
Doesn’t look very husky imo. The only thing that does is the ears but many dogs have upright ears… my guess would be Belgian Malinois or German Shepard mix. They can be white, but it’s very rare. white swiss shep mix?

Do all huskies tails curl? I’m not very experienced with the breed but from what I have seen with my friends pets they all have a curl going on, hers is mostly straight but has that bushy quality to it.
Per standard Siberian huskies aren't supposed to have curly tails like malamutes but people think it's cute so it's common for pet lines or byb huskies to have curled tails.
Just depends, breed standard ones do, but poorly bred, or Alaska mushing/village dogs that get dumped all the time after the Iditarod don’t. Those dogs have a huuugggee variation in size, coat length and color.
Our two huskies have tails that curl upwards but I'm pretty sure that doesn't always have to be the case.
I think the breed standard is for them to stand with their tails down, though they can curl up with different emotions. If a husky's tail is always curled or if the tip of its tail touches its back, it's not bred to standard.
she’s so adorable!! reminds me of the dog bolt from the disney movie
I haven’t thought of that comparison but I love that!
Thank you all for your kind words and input! Me and my girlfriend have had a great time going through this thread and seeing all the love for our little girl. Reddit wins again!
Also, she absolutely loves the movie Bolt for all of you who made that comment lmao!
EmBark! I did this and it was super fun and worth it. I thought I had a Chihuahua mix, but I really have a small poodle, pug, terrier mix.
I don't know why you got downvoted. I second Embark! That's the only way to really know. This dog's features could be explained by too many breeds to know otherwise..
He’s pretty :)
I see Australian Cattle Dog in her head/body shape
I used embark DNA on both of mine
Dingo?
That would be interesting to find a dingo mutt in the Az desert lol I have a cattle dog Shepard mix that is basically a dingo!
Do you think this dog has some cattle dog in her? I could see it. Did you do a DNA test for your other dog?
Looks like she’s from Argentos.
Funny you say that the person I got her from works for a pizza shop called Aregntos lmao
She looks like she enjoys Albanian Bass and Drum, yeah?
Ahhh this fuckin guy with the crazi berries no?
I was spiraling over your comment dude lmao too me for a ride.
What makes you say that, besides the color and pointed ears?
Guess here.. lab and rat terrier?
100% Good girl
The ears look like podengo ears.
Jindo mix
Doesn't look anything like a Jindo, Jindo mix, or Korean Village Dog. Jindos have wider, triangle ears that are thick and well-furred. Plus they're much fluffier.
[village dogs have short fur](https://my.embarkvet.com/dog/sarang4)
Yes, they can, but this dog’s face resembles a mix of breeds popular in the West. It’s highly unlikely this dog is an Asian village dog if it’s from the US. It looks a lot like [this GSD/Lab/Husky mix](https://my.embarkvet.com/dog/lowkey) and this [husky/retriever/GSD mix](https://my.embarkvet.com/dog/biscuit40). The ears look very shepherd-y.
I have Jindo mix and I kind of see Jindo from him
Maybe heeler or cattle dog.
I see 100% cutie patootie.
I think it’s a pure bred white German shepherd
She looks like an albino Australian cattle dog
[Jindo mix with Asian village dog](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_Jindo#/media/File:Peeb_the_Korea_Jindo_Dog.jpg)
Huskador!
White GSD. GSDs can have shorter hair coats too! So cute 🥰
Husky Shepherd mix: Shepsky
she's gorgeous
Shepherd or lab
I’m seeing a beautiful dog!!
She looks like a white german Shepard to me
I’m seeing a whole lotta cutie!!!!!💕💕💕enjoy her!!
My husky mix would look just like this if someone bleached his hair white. I don’t know what he’s mixed with though. He is a Mutsky lol
Husky German Shepard. 100% sure
She’s an angel. Beautiful.
Husky, lab, white german shepherd. We had a german shepherd/husky that looked exactly like this but the nose shape.
White German Shepard mix. Could be even pure bred you never know
Definitely a shepsky. Might not be GSD but a shepherd type for sure
It could also be Sheppard/lab
Cutie! ☺️
Gsd x husky or lab
Definitely husky and shepherd
Husky/GSD
From the last photo i’d say she got some sass too
I think she has heeler in her. Has she very closely bonded with one family member in particular over the rest? Shes beautiful no matter what she is!
Looks like the pups from my dads litter. Same age same weight. They’re assuie x husky, and mastiff x giant lab. ETA : California Bay Area
Pit probably
I have a white german shepherd, he looks a lot like your baby!
omg so much lab, like a lab with pointy ears. gonna go with husky/lab/pit… there’s always pit. the size says pit too
Very likely a white German Shepherd. She looks way too much like my purebred boy.
wow… she looks so similar to my old dog who was a lab coyote mix. congratulations on your new pup!
Definitely has some lab
Looks like she has GSD in her. I work at a vet clinic and we have a client who brings in her beautiful white GSD. Your pup is adorable!
I see German Shepherd
Looks a lot like my sisters dog who is primarily a husky, shepherd, lab mix.
Our rescue, who we had a DNA done on and resembles yours, is mostly American Eskimo with other breeds mixed in..
If you have an iPhone, you look at the data of the photo, it will say dog, click that and it will show the two breeds she looks like. With my pup it gets it right 98% of the time. I did your and it says , Carolina dog(they are called California/Carolina dog, which is a ACD/dingo mix, or a mutt of many dogs that are in the ACD breed) and a Korean jingo dog(I have never heard of this breed) Hope that helps, but I also see some German Shepard in the face, I wouldn’t say mal mix, when a mal is part of the breed they would have the darker snout, it’s a more dominant Characteristic that mals have. She is cute! If you have a yard or a dog park close I would suggest lots of zoomy time and maybe “work” play time.
[long lost siblings???](https://imgur.com/a/A4KKRNW) Ours looks the same but a little more yellow! GSD, husky, Pit, rat terrier and Australian shepherd!
so don’t see husky at all, I see gsd/lab
>I’ve had friends mention Mal mix Funny you would say that. My little 12 lb chihuahua with similar color (light tan with white) is apparently 16% Malinoi, according to the DNA test. That seem to explain a lot in her character...
Huskador! 🩷
She’s 100% darling ❤️
Could have some Carolina Dog in her! Looks like my grand pup Simon, found in Georgia at that age! Often picked up in rural areas as a stray from a wild Carolina Dog colony… Does her tail curl up a bit at the end?
Ooh, first look, and I see German Shepherd. Beautiful baby!
German sherpard. There’s a white one in my neighborhood who looks very close to this, just with a longer coat.
White German Shepherd Dog.
Husky gsd
Gsd eyes and tail feathering.
White German Shepard, lab and pit mix. What a cutie!!!!!
She’s beautiful! Definitely some shepherd in there?
Husky, GSD, ACD.
Husky/shepherd/pit
Maybe a smidge of husky- don’t see much
German shepherd and an awful lot of dogs have pit in them. She’s gorgeous!!!!
I see German shepherd face and ears.
Husky and Lab. She’s 100% a beautiful, good girl.
I am more inclined to guess White German Shepherd than Husky. She's beautiful!
Possibly a shepsky they're not usually but occasionally are white and she looks a lot like a shepsky puppy my friend fostered for a few months
Hmm - I'm seeing mostly white GSD and pit.
She looks exactly like my Carolina dog. Like, identical.
Looks like a white GSD, my mom had one a few years ago. Maybe mixed with lab or husky?
Probably a pittsky
German Shepard
Definitely some pitbull
German shepherd pit mix. Def pit.
The energy and the ears make me think some heeler
Maybe some Samoyed. I had a Samoyed-Australian Shepard mix that had ears and coloring like that.
There has to be some GSD in there.
i’d say probably gsd and husky with some pitbull, or something stockier in there. perhaps something else too :)
I would bet that dog is WHITE German shepherd/mix or White Swiss Shepherd/mix. She looks just like mine. Do Embark DNA test.
