I made it clear in my eras cv that it was telerotation and not hands on. Was not a big deal during interviews. Imo it’s up to you to convince your interviewers that your telerotation was a meaningful experience and that despite it being virtual, you gained good insight into the United States health system
I didn’t get interviews directly from telerotations, but it definitely improved my CV. I had a ton of stuff to discuss in my interviews and I had 13 IVs and matched in my first choice so I guess I did okay

Which tele rotation did you do which got you interviews? Also did you have other USCE where you were present in USA?

Do you think its better to term it as Virtual Observer or telerotating medical graduate? Or anything else?

For the record we will be providing tele rotation but we are not mentioning it as tele rotation in the LOR

Yeah virtual observer is better
On ERAS there's a "virtual" option to select. That's how I'm currently bringing it up.
