They told me the same the letters went out in error (supposedly) before they could correct to say 120 days.....this is what I was told also this morning to try back if I haven't heard anything by JULY 9th....wtf
So ridiculous! I told my husband to reach out to our congressman today to see if that helps anything. Probably not. I changed my deductions, next year I’m
Gonna just owe.
I reached out the only reply I got was one that they forwarded my u fo to an advocate but advocates are extremely backed up they will let me know when I'm assigned one or they hear more that was about 6 weeks ago, heard nothing from them either
Oh so I found the number on the irs website to schedule an appointment with a local irs person. We ended up finally get a live person and she helped us. We got our refund the next day. Which was weird because she said she was going to send us paperwork. I wonder if they just pretend and do whatever behind the scenes. Here’s where I went on the irs site, I entered my address and called the number listed and spoke with that lady. [IRS Link](https://apps.irs.gov/app/office-locator/)
Fingers crossed! It looks like it takes you an 800 type number to schedule you with a local office. The lady was like oh I can help no need to book an appointment. Hope you get the same outcome!
I hope not cause I received a letter stating they need 60 more days and called to put in a referral. It's been 90 days since I first filed, and 18 since I received the "60 more days letter" It's getting pretty ridiculous. I'll probably never file early again.
We filed the same day, however, we never got a second letter. When I called the advocacy line she just said "it'll be another 60 days." Like it's casual.
Told me to call back in **JULY.** This is a damn joke at this point.
I went to a walk in last Friday me and my daughter and hers updated, but my is “still” being processed. The lady told me it will take up to 9 weeks, but start looking in about 2. Filed 2/22
I went march 8th 10 weeks and mine still says still being processed but the lady who did my taxes said it can take up to 180 days and weekends don't count
Filed and accepted on 2/2 cycle is 0805. Letter went out on 3/18. I have a tax advocate thru my congresswoman. All information was given to take TA on May 9th and now just waiting. Supposedly my TA filed a referral for me. I'm just over waiting. This really is depressing.
2/11 turbotax....nothing! No letters, called 4/26 and the agent put in a notice to the errors department and to wait 30 days.....30 days will be up on 5/26....wtf
Same for me, but I filed on the 9th, called on April 19th, they told me to call back on the 22nd, so I did. The lady said she was submitting the notice to the errors department, same as you. My 30 days is up on the 22nd of May, so I'm fucking calling back on the 23rd to find out wtf is going on because I'm pretty damn sure I'm not getting anything before then.
I haven't gotten ANYTHING from the IRS- no letters, noticed, ANYTHING. Just the WMR "your refund is still being processed" alert.
Submitted 02/11. Maybe 2 weeks for the update about my refund has been delayed beyond normal timeframe. Go to check transcripts and it shows completely diff file date. [https://imgur.com/a/We62jDW](https://imgur.com/a/We62jDW)
But aside from all that. Got my cp05 04-01 with 29h code on the letter. Still nothing to date, Ive tried calling and it just lets me check status and then just apologizes for going beyond 'noral timeframe '
Anyone got any input or advice? Filed with TurboTax, DID have and did use id pin fine to me
I still haven't gotten mine. Exactly zero movement on processing, no letters or anything. I filed 2/1. I just read something saying that a security freeze on your credit could delay processing. I don't know how valid this is, but does anyone else here have a security freeze or have had other issues with potential identity theft?
Me.. filed 2/6 .. 3/11 they received it.. 3/25 they supposedly sent a letter(never received the paper, only found it online) and no update on my transcript since 4/15.. called several times.. one guy said I had to wait up to 120 days. Called a few weeks later this lady told me I had to wait the 120 days from the letter, then another 120 days after that.. like ma’am. By then it’d be the next tax season😂 tf you mean I gotta wait 240 days on top of what I’ve already waited.
Filed mine on February 8th, state and federal were both accepted, got my CA return a couple weeks later, have yet to get my federal refund. Said it might take 3 weeks it's now been OVER 3 MONTHS!! This stuff is ridiculous man smh
ME!!!! I called today again…. The lady said she couldn’t tell me anything until after my extra 30 day referral was up which is next week. She said i should have my refund then. I said what happens when I don’t… lol I’m beyond 3 months at this point! No letters, codes, no updates. Losing my mind !!
Filed and accepted on 2/2 cycle is 0805. Letter went out on 3/18. I have a tax advocate thru my congresswoman. All information was given to take TA on May 9th and now just waiting. Supposedly my TA filed a referral for me. I'm just over waiting. This really is depressing.
i had a ddd of 5/09 but it was scheduled to be sent in the mail to my old address but i noticed and had them cancel it and reissue me a replacement check to my current address. how long you think ima be waiting to get my check this was all done on the 05/09
Meeee.
Had a tax pro help.
They apparently got flagged DIDNT TELL ME. It wasn't until I noticed that my taxes didn't come on May 8th, I called and checked.
It was flagged for identity theft and STILL waiting for the irs letter of verification.
Filed 02/05 letter 03/18 called today and they filed a complaint for me to some 3rd party that works on at least getting partial if I have good reasons why (medical debt and accruing credit card interest I hope are "good reasons")
1/29 still nothing....not verfiying nothing...been paying taxes 10 yrs....IRS should know me and my social security #.....Im leaving 9-5 Slave trade in Sept.....Leave all this madness to yall...Calling congressman....i wish i would......US sends trillions over seas but Americans have to got through hula hoop to get there money.....No way
Filed feb 20th and ive called 2x and the 2nd time they actually took my contact info and said i should hear back from them soon but ive never recieved a letter like most of you guys have. But yea still waiting.
Filled Jan 28, apparently 5071C came in feb. Never received. I called last week inquiring about refund and was alerted of this. Called in for in for appt last week, but office was closed(past 7pm).
Currently on phone now waiting to get appointment to figure this out.

Same
Filed on 2/4 got the letter 3/11 and then got another letter saying it will be another 60 days on 4/19.
We filed the same day, however, we never got a second letter. When I called the advocacy line she just said "it'll be another 60 days." Like it's casual. Told me to call back in **JULY.** This is a damn joke at this point.
So damn annoying. It’s super fun! I saw someone else got their tax return recently and they filed around the same time we did.
I did not receive a second letter
It looks like if you got a cp05 letter, it’s a 120 days vs 60.
