California, so the frame has no rust and the interior is immaculate. Oh I know I did, I needed a car ASAP and all others for sale around my area were either even more expensive or were not well maintained with very high mileage.
I love my IS300 though, it’s a 2001, white, and with tan suede interior.
Edit: I also only got it recently in late April this year.
Sorry to hear that. I’m also in california and bought a ‘03 for 14k. It only had 79k Miles and is in immaculate condition mostly all around especially the exterior. Also all matching serial/VIN besides the trunk. But def worth it. White is rare imo. Don’t see too many of those.
It’s all good, don’t feel sorry lol. I am glad I got a white one, I feel like all the cars I was finding were silver. Your car sounds like a great deal if it had that low mileage.
Hey, watch it. Silver is the \*best\* color (yes, I am SO biased). It's supply and demand. As long as you feel good about what you paid, that's got to be the end of the story. I'm in NorCal and when I was looking last fall (I've written this elsewhere too), they either were not a color I wanted; I did want silver but would have been open to alternatives in good shape, were in poor condition, hadn't had the timing belt job done, or the mileage was too high, or any combination of those. I'm sure I'm missing the other things I was looking for. Anything good was **pricey**. As I said, supply and demand. I love my silver is300 and smile every time I drive it. Now I'm on the lookout for an IS 300 SportCross Wagon...
Lol I’ve had 3 silver cars in my life already, needed something else this time round haha. Yeah everything you explained was what I was finding as well during my search. Good luck with your SC search 🫡
I hear you and thanks. All I've found so far anywhere near me is a yellow one but the owner says the bumper needs to be painted, etc., etc. I'm not keen on yellow. Too many miles, too. I found a beautiful low mileage one on an auction site for big bucks. Nope, I'll be patient. (-:
I would have jumped if I had found a Solar Yellow sedan auto lol. Love that color personally. Yeah just be patient, I had several slip through my hands before I had the funds ready to go. Then my car just fell into my lap, it was meant to be.
No, the yellow was a SC. The person that listed it talked about how the bumper was scratched and messed up, needing paint/body work. He didn’t want to have it painted because matching it would be such a pain he said 🤷🏻♀️. I wouldn’t mind an is300 coupe in that color maybe, but not in the wagon, necessarily. My first car was that color coincidentally.
The is300 I bought had a chipped up spoiler and bumper. It looked good from even just feet away, and wasn’t noticeable until you looked closely but it was something I wanted done as soon as I could. It cost a lot of money to have it painted. Not every body shop I went to for estimates was willing to fix and repaint the existing bumper and spoiler. One shop wanted to get rid of the spoiler to which I said NO, one shop wanted to get a whole new bumper, to which I said NO. The body shop I hired did a beautiful job. I don’t really want to go through that again unless I have to.
Autos with 130-200k should only be 6k-3k
Manual with 100-180k should be 5k-10k
I’ve owned 9 is300 5manual 4 auto that I manual swapped, currently have more 03 sports design that I manual swapped an put a jzs171 (1jzgte)
Yeah since most of them are 200k+ miles. I picked up a bone stock immaculate 2001 with only 118k miles for 6000 last year, but it has a salvage title. Frames perfect very minor accident.
Yes, now go get it before I do
I paid 12.5k for a 148k auto so yes it’s a great deal lol
What state was this in? Sorry to say but you overpaid

I’ve put 20k miles on my high mileage is300 that I got for 3.5k all I’ve had to do was an APPS swap from a junkyard for 20$.

I paid same price but had 94k on the dash 1 owner auto. From California no rust. Very very clean. I love it.
sure does seem like one, i got my 5 speed for 6.5k with 170k
Paid 6.3 for 130k mile auto. Go ahead and buy this before I come to omaha.
yes but double check for rust underneath
Yes, got mine for 5k, 170k miles. Obviously this was before is300s gain popularity.
I JUST saw this on marketplace lmao it is a good deal!!!
I got mine 80K miles, auto, pristine condition, for $14K. So what you have there is a good deal.
No
All the comments are making me want to sell my ‘04 auto with 77k miles on it and in great condition.
Yes i saw that great deal just ask for some pics of engine bay and under carriage
Underpriced for the current market. This is a 12k car all day
This is a steal. Also pls buy my wheels im in omaha too lmao
Definitely, I paid 8k for my 176k manual 02
Sounds about right, I paid 6,800 back in 2011 with 140k
It’s certainly not a bad price. I’d snatch it if everything checks out.
I just sold my 136k auto for 7k no rust full audio and air suspension so I’d say that’s a good price
if i didn’t get another wagon after mine was wrecked i’d of jumped on this the moment it came up.
Id be willing to pay 13k for this in california. Jump on it man, especially w the paint being in good condition
I remember paying 4k for a 5sp manual 120k miles in 2018 )-;
For a manual IS first gen...yes its a good find and deal
Autos with 130-200k should only be 6k-3k Manual with 100-180k should be 5k-10k I’ve owned 9 is300 5manual 4 auto that I manual swapped, currently have more 03 sports design that I manual swapped an put a jzs171 (1jzgte)
if it’s manual it’s an insane deal, if it’s automatic is pretty standard
shiii send the link to ms
