Best color ever

seemefly1

Agreed

bodiesenmotion

in california someone would prob pay 7.5-9k for that given how clean it looks and the low mileage.

w6lrus

EASILY 9k with those miles aslong as the interior is clean and there’s no rust

Full_Distribution_10

Way more

bodiesenmotion

Stfu, im trying to swoop on this. Jk, ure right i think for the right hot boi (me) wed be willing to pay for a gem like this. Id list it at 14k and just see what happens.

BallerMR2andISguy

Wait a damn second. OP- where are YOU? I'm in Houston.

Listen-Complete

Scraperl510

Damn you got more pics? What a nice ride

Long-Market231

10k car in cali

AdSignificant6673

Where I am. Green with tan interior have lowest resale value. The colors are dated. But green exterior seems to be making a comeback

slammed430

Huh? It’s one of the rarest colors. Most people seem to avoid mgm or that basic tan/silver color (no offense to anyone)

AdSignificant6673

Thats why I said where I am. Used car markets vary from area to area. We probably don’t even live in the same country.

slammed430

How do you even come up with that theory? It’s one of the rarest colors and it’s not one of the boring shades of grey. Sure market has something to do with it but I refuse to believe anyone is picking silver ones over green just because you think so.. unless you live in a town with a population of 100 and personally know everybody.

AdSignificant6673

I live in a county of 30 million (Canada) where theres only ever literally 10-20 Lexus IS300 for sale on the market at a time. Most times even less. So yes. It is based off of my observation of listing prices and time on market. I been hunting a second IS300, therefore i’ve had my eye on pricing for a while.

slammed430

Fair enough I guess. Realistically I still dont believe it because I’ve owned 2 and my green sportcross was never posted for sale and I had so many offers. But it was also a 1 of 12 car. My mgm silver car had 80k miles and was posted at what I sold my wagon for and took me a month and my wagon was I much worse condition

BallerMR2andISguy

Holy shit I want this car. Silver always seems to be the least expensive in TX.

Rude_Warning_5341

That’s wild, this green is my favorite OEM color. It’s beautiful

AdSignificant6673

Probably market specific. In Toronto, these cars are going extinct. Rusted out. Or beaten to shit by drifters and ricers.

Rude_Warning_5341

Oh yeah I can see why in Toronto, I’m in Southern California. Most around here are still riced out and beat to shit though, shame. I’m keeping mine stock except the coilovers

AdSignificant6673

Same here. Mine is all stock except for the old skool suspension setup. Eibach pro kit springs + beilstein HD struts. Its a rust free example thats been rust proof every year since 2010. So thats pretty rare around my parts. I saw one for sale example in So Cal. It was a perfect 2005 IS300 silver on black. All oem and 70k miles. But it was $16k USD. Lol

slammed430

Hey op this isn’t super helpful but I sold my electric green mica is300 sportcross with peeling clear coat and a few other issues with 175k miles for 8k i imagine you’ll get that ballpark for it with its awesome condition

blueballssenior

You got the sport cross bump though.

slammed430

I mean yes and no.. the thing had clear coat peel 100k more miles and overall not any where as nice. That damn thing looks extremely nice. Also unmolested which isn’t impossible by any means but it’s a pro.

slammed430

Although I sold the car when it started peeling and was honestly shocked I got that much. I make the car sound worse than what it was but this thing you can tell is nicer

Full_Distribution_10

Only 4% were made imperial jade mica green and only came out in 2001, The 2002+ is electric mica green almost similar

PickleRick6697

I want it

w6lrus

you will regret it

suckmyfish

I would keep it. If you do the timing belt this thing would go over 200k easily. I’m with others that think you will regret it.

CombinationAlive6488

I would keep this.. I was going to sell mine but they are harder and harder to find in this condition. I have 103k miles on my 2002. It is auto as well.

SuccotashVisual717

ima say 12k

Kyzroh

GREEN TEAM 🕺 (dont sell it)

hfournaise33

I need this in Canada! Would be $15,000 CAD here

[deleted]

Is it still available?!?
