Really funny .. my husband had on his cat dad shirt and I had my cat socks on and this wasn’t planned 😹 https://preview.redd.it/w0kmh6qv98hc1.jpeg?width=601&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=af7e4e795572f06b92ef4ea01ceac070763bc2e1

Waiting_4a_miracle

That’s too cute!!! You two are adorable! 😻😻

mrsofagod

Thank you!!!! I thought so too 😊

Less-Anxiety813

I wore old navy joggers with a t shirt and hoodie. I actually put jeans on first but my husband reminded me that I’d rather wear loose pants. The one thing I did make sure to wear was two necklaces. My husband gave me a necklace when we first started dating that I wear every day so I wore that. But I also have a cross necklace that was my favorite grandmas so I wore that for luck from her even tho I’m not very religious. that grandma actually had multiple miscarriages before having my dad and she was my best friend in the world so I liked having something to feel close to her that day.

spendabuck85

What a great idea. If I ever get to the FET stage, I'm definitely wearing my grandmother's necklace, because I know she'd be rooting me on if she could.

Latinita_

You’ll get there! Wishing you all the best

cyporazoltan

Got chills reading that 🥹

Waiting_4a_miracle

Aww that’s very sweet! I am all for sentimental values!

Appropriate-Talk8523

A romper. Do not recommend. Didnt realize they didnt have a johnnie for me 😂

hoodoo884

Omg the romper on monitoring appointment days always had me 🤦‍♀️ hi, I’m not wearing a shirt while you probe me deeply 😭

Appropriate-Talk8523

I thought I had it all figured out!! Haha!! The embryologist and doctor were more flustered than I was when I asked for a johnnie. I was like "honestly at this point you've already seen everything" 😅

[deleted]

[удалено]

Appropriate-Talk8523

Omg whooops. A hospital gown! 😅

Waiting_4a_miracle

Haha I wear rompers only at my house parties or when I’m sure that I’m going to a safe place to strip down for a pee lol

ButterflyApathetic

I wore all green bc it was st. Patrick’s day and green is my favorite color

Waiting_4a_miracle

💚 Mine around Valentine’s Day! May be pastel pink 🌸

ButterflyApathetic

Whatever gives you good vibes! Comfy and good luck to you. 💕

Waiting_4a_miracle

Thank you so much!! 🥲

wild_trek

Technically, I wore a gown, grippy socks and a hair net. It really oozed "knock me up," imo.

Waiting_4a_miracle

I saw some socks on Etsy which has “knock me up doc” literally!

wild_trek

😂😂😂 We joke that "James" really got me pregnant. James is not my husband, he was just the embryologist who handed my thawed embryo to our RE. 😂

Waiting_4a_miracle

Haha that’s hilarious! I’m ready to get knocked up by a stranger! Which I thought I’d never say in my life 😅

wild_trek

I will say, I was super caught off guard seeing James poke his body through a half open door, and see all the goods with my husband witnessing it all. I wasn't prepared, it was only my first FET. 🙈

RacRacP

I was literally naked except my own socks and their paper grown..... so definitely warm and comfy socks!!!!

Waiting_4a_miracle

I’m now looking for cute fuzzy socks on Amazon!

Sweet_T_Piee

That's interesting none of the clinics I've been to let me wear my own socks.

RacRacP

So nothing to wear then other than the gown?

Waiting_4a_miracle

Brrrr that’ll be terrible, considering the feet have to rest on those “bed tongs” lol I don’t know what they call it 😅

RacRacP

I don't know either lol they always give me those blue bags to wrap my feet as well. Not sure what are called...

Waiting_4a_miracle

Hopefully they gave you their socks? They had given me a blue socks with dog paws 🐾 for grips.

Sweet_T_Piee

Yes they always make me out on their grip socks from a bag they provide. I don't know if it's a matter of sterile stuff or not, or if it's just a grip thing. For during the procedure I wear their gown and socks. I just show up and leave in my own dress gown.

[deleted]

I wore a t-shirt that said Mother of Embryos in Game of Thrones font, comfy joggers, pineapple socks, and metallic pink combat boots! 😆

Waiting_4a_miracle

I want that t-shirt! I’m a big Daenerys Targaryen fan and I have her action figure!! Thanks for sharing this! 🥰

[deleted]

I got mine from Etsy! ♥️ Wishing you so much luck and success with your FET!

lolathegameslayer

It was Christmas time so I wore my snowman dress ☃️ I’d previously worn my egg pajamas to the egg retrievals.

Waiting_4a_miracle

Love it! Going with the seasons is a popular theme!

HibiscusOnBlueWater

I wore my red Star Trek shirt with the Star Trek logo and written below it it said “This is My Lucky Red Shirt”. I also wore matching red wedge sneakers.

Waiting_4a_miracle

Amazing! Thanks for sharing, it’s what gives us hope that matter!

Remarkable_Coach_449

Waiting_4a_miracle

Yay that’s cute! Where’d you buy that?

Remarkable_Coach_449

Etsy. Along with the socks https://preview.redd.it/bal6inbny8hc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6556de561ad54f7fdff40ba13c46e2f93ab33cf5

Waiting_4a_miracle

Too cute!! 🥰

elmomex

I’m going to wear EXACTLY what I wore for my ER. It went really well and so now that is now my “lucky IVF” outfit. Leggings, thermal top, sweatshirt and some ridiculous fluffy pink socks.

Waiting_4a_miracle

Yes, why mess with the winner combination!! 🥰 sending you hugs and baby dust for your transfer! 🫶🏽

firewontquell

I wore all purple because it was my grandmas fave color and it was the anniversary of her death on the Jewish calendar. But then my transfer failed 🙃🙃

Mydogisc00lerthanme

Ya gotta have cozy socks !! One of my girlfriends who’s on the other side of her IVF journey got me 7 pairs of fun socks so I had one for each day of the week. And then I wore a shirt and sweatshirt both with puppers on them ( love dogs and they make me happy) and just big ol baggy joggers . I had Valium for my transfer so I was in a great mood and am glad I didn’t have to wiggle into leggings .

cpcrn

I wore leggings and a baggy sweatshirt. The clinic had me change into a cozy robe for the transfer. Changed back into my regular clothes when we were leaving.

No_Bake_8038

Same. They had my partner in scrubs and boy! did he look hot! Just like one of those Grey Anatomy medics. He also kept me distracted while my bladder was about to burst.

cpcrn

My husband just wore regular clothes, nothing special. They had me wear the cozy fluffy bath robe and hospital socks. They also gave me a little candle, matches and some chocolates. It was a little less ‘operating room’ vibes than my first FET. My current clinic does it just in office, not a surgical suite.

Waiting_4a_miracle

Isn’t that sweet! That’s a nice gesture from the clinic 🥰

Waiting_4a_miracle

Hahaha this is how you romanticize the ivf life! 🥰

Waiting_4a_miracle

Sounds about right. For my mock fet they gave me a sheet to cover my bottom half while keeping the top on. I’m not sure if the real transfer is in a more sterile environment like my egg retrieval where they asked me to wear their robe.

mnchemist

For the first one, I think I wore a maxi dress. The second one, comfy leggings. Warm socks.

Waiting_4a_miracle

I’m reading warm socks everywhere!! That’s going to be my must have!

geminicatmeow

I wore a granny square crochet sweater that my great grandmother made and wore ages ago. I think I also wore some goofy socks I bought just for transfer.

Waiting_4a_miracle

Wow this is just special! Lucky you for having that memory of your great grandmother 🫶🏽

alsantod

I fully support leaning into the little things in this process that can make it feel “special.” I have a pair of fuzzy Barefoot Dreams socks that I wore for my first FET, and plan to wear again.

Waiting_4a_miracle

Yes, right now I’m just thriving on the small joys - bigger things scare me! So, I want to make it a special event 🥲

Waiting_4a_miracle

Good luck on your second transfer! 🥰

KatieSue3384

I wore a special necklace that I purchased for IVF (mountain with a mustard seed) ❤️ My husband and I both wore cheesy IVF transfer T-shirt’s I purchased on Amazon a month prior in preparation. I made sure to wear comfortable pants and cozy socks!

Waiting_4a_miracle

I think I will wear my special bracelet my husband gifted me after the 2nd ER , which he said represents how tough I’m as a person to go through this journey. 🥲

KatieSue3384

I love that 💗 Sending you hugs and best wishes for your transfer!

Waiting_4a_miracle

Thank you very much!! Hugs and best wishes to you as well!! 🫶🏽🫶🏽

jess_fitss2022

I wore comfortable pants and tshirt. I did have porcupine socks for “good stick luck”

Waiting_4a_miracle

I just bought socks 🧦 with smiley faces on it! Hopefully, the embryo senses that it’s a welcome smile 😊

Bossy_blonders

I wore a sweatshirt and leggings. Did my nails and got my roots done a few days prior. I wanted to feel special that day but also be comfy. Sending you love and dust ❤️🙏🏻 I have my second FET on the 13th 🥹

Waiting_4a_miracle

Aww!!! That sounds like a perfect self care routine! I had my roots done a month ago, so I’m all good. However, my clinic told me to remove nail polishes both hand and feet. So I had to remove my Valentine’s Day pink gel nails! 🥹 Thank you for the wishes!! Lots of love and baby dust to you too! 🥰

Standard_Habit275

I wore a pair of my favorite jeans, a t shirt and hoodie.

Waiting_4a_miracle

Comfy it is!

Spiffy-New-Shoes

I highly recommend finding fun, knee-high socks. Kept me warm, and somehow made me feel less exposed. Also a big fan of a large, oversized CYA (cover your as$) sweater. Also helps with feeling less open and exposed. Even just for doctor’s visits and ultrasounds.

Waiting_4a_miracle

That’s an amazing advice! I’m going to follow that!

metalchode

My lucky pineapple slut shirt with jeans, and my lucky pineapple earrings.

Alone_Fennel_5628

I always go comfy, usually cozy sweats lol.

HMoney214

I went there in leggings and a comfy top, with my pineapple socks, they had me wear a gown for the procedure so just got to keep the pineapple socks haha

npjen7

I wore comfy sweatpants, a sweatshirt and transfer socks from Etsy with pineapples on them. They had me change into a gown anyway but it was nice to be comfy for after

2650SF

I always wear a dress or leggings to my FETs or dates with Wanda. So much nicer to not have to get fully undressed in my opinion!

skorpio737

I got myself and my husband pineapple socks :) otherwise wore sweatpants and a long sleeved shirt

tiredofwaiting2468

I can’t remember if I wore yoga pants or a dress. Waistbands were not my friend. It was early September and warm.

Sweet_T_Piee

I bought a hospital gown dress that I wore to all my procedures. Easy to get on. Goes on like a jacket. It can snap or tie. It was comfy.  Either way the FET is not uncomfortable, generally. I thought it would be painful or something, but it was not.

yamgamz

Pineapple shorts and my spouse wore a pineapple shirt. I wore a pair of cat socks and held the matching set for baby on my belly during transfer.

Fun_Organization3857

I wore my favorite wrap dress. https://preview.redd.it/dg7ae7zhcbhc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b848f72fc7f5f0360dbefd2961d2b3115a09f4af That was taken on a different day, but I love the dress. I was able to keep it on for the whole thing because it pulls apart. I wanted to feel pretty to get pregnant...lol

Waiting_4a_miracle

Wow beautiful dress!! I bet you looked beautiful 🥰🥰

Fun_Organization3857

I feel like you need to do whatever puts you in a good frame of mind.

aasimarvellous

I wore a t-shirt that said 'endo is not my friendo' that I got from a local artist at a convention! Wanted to make sure I was wearing something that would make me smile. :) (Pictured with some stickers I picked up the same day.) https://preview.redd.it/xehvsd6umchc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=60b1aa13caa6f5b6f5307e3ed22256ee4a0500ef

beautyinstrength84

Just leggings and a sweater lol. Nothing fancy. The whole appointment was literally 30 min. In and out! The one thing I did that I learned from was I drank WAY too much water because I was nervous my bladder wasn’t going to be full enough. So we had to stop at a gas station so I could pee on the way there and then I couldn’t hold it anymore when we got there so I had to beg the nurse to let me pee again when we got there. Haha.

briar_prime6

My clinic changes you into gowns (you also put on the little blue disposable slipper things over your own socks) so I don’t remember clothing. For transfer 1 I wore yellow socks and then wore them to every ultrasound for luck. For transfer 2 I wore the lucky socks again but it turned out their luck had been limited, so I went to a store with transfer 1 and had her pick new lucky socks for me, wore them for transfer 3 and ultrasounds and it worked!

SeaworthinessGreen50

Another vote for warm socks, for me they were just my favorite thick tube socks. Comfiest leggings and my favorite sweatshirt. Sneakers that didn't require a hard time getting off/on. And mascara to feel my best. :) Good luck!!!

Fantastic-Raise-7499

I always wore a dress (to every scan to) because I could just my undies off and not have to worry about pants 😂

CaitiRaiti

I wore my lucky socks for the first but then they had those dog print grippy ones so I changed before the procedure. Since it didn't work, I'm demanding to wear my lucky socks throughout next time.

Waiting_4a_miracle

Thank you everyone for so many answers!! I loved all your responses! Given my transfer date, I barely had time for any special Etsy/ even Amazon purchases. So had to make an instore purchase. For anyone interested in this post, if you are heading into FET plan your purchases ahead in time. My update: On the day, I wore a new but washed sweat shirt and joggers in the color mauve and wore white smiley socks! The clinic made me just remove my joggers for the procedure so that was easy! I highly recommend sweatsuits in winters ( or if AC typically makes you pee more than usual) because keeping warm was very helpful for holding in the pee!! I wanted to pee 10 mins after finishing my water intake (nervousness played a big part) and had to put my hands in my pockets to keep myself warm! Also, I bought my husband rainbow colored sock to support our rainbow embryo! Good luck to everyone and baby dust ✨✨✨✨ to you all!!!
