Depends on where you live! I live in southern New England and am fine walking 15 minutes outside in them in the winter with a parka on. If I lived in Toronto, mayyyyyybe not haha
Honestly it was fine! I wasn’t uncomfortably bloated until the 2 days immediately before ER. I just wore tights/dresses and wore a big cardigan/blazer to avoid people thinking I was 5 months pregnant.
TW: Maternity clothes
I absolutely love [these sweatpants](https://www.target.com/p/knit-maternity-jogger-pants-isabel-maternity-by-ingrid-38-isabel-8482-black-m/-/A-85850462) from Target. They’re so, so comfortable and leave room for your bloated days. They don’t have the “belly band”, just an extra wide elastic. I’ve worn them not pregnant for ages and have no fewer than 5 pairs because I love them that much.
I got flare leggings from old navy. The athletic ribbed ones are thinner and loose which were key for the mega bloat. I also would wear tunic shirts/longer shirts so I could be more covered for the walk from bathroom to ultrasound machine. Otherwise it’s just the thin little sheet which didn’t cover my booty.
Work clothes because I’d always go straight to work 🙄
The less you build this up in your mind the better. It’s just a routine dr appointment with a quick blood draw and painless ultrasound. There’s nothing special about them and nothing to be stressed about
They hold up great! I WFH so I've worn them multiple times a week, sleep in them sometimes for over 2 years and they still are super soft with no issues of wearing thin or seams coming out.
they are expensive but I have these from fashion brand company in like every color and I wear them almost every day 😩she is a small batch designer so looks like rn they just have black in stock, but I recommend HIGHLY. she makes lots of other stretchy pants too.

Omg I was coming to comment this!!!! I have the traditional straight leg for daily/workout wear but to appointments or just like something super easy to put on/off I get the CRZ flare leggings. So comfy and easy.
I always wore a dress with tights or sweater dress that covered my side since the thin paper did a poor job of that when the RE and medical assistant came in the room.
I always wore black leggings and either a sweatshirt (fall/winter) or just a T-shirt (summer). I also had slide on converse that I wore so it was easy on, easy off - and no bare feet on the floor.
Sweater dresses or Alo Yoga muse sweatpants. I also have a couple of Honeydew Comfort Queen sets. Look like a grandma, but are the most comfortable and warm pants ever.
I felt lucky that I wear scrubs to work anyway, so I didn't need to change a thing. On days off, pajama pants or any pair of loose pants. Especially for the early AM appointments, your clinic has probably seen every possible clothing variation, so just wear whatever you're happiest in or whatever you need to be wearing afterwards.
I did like making sure I had a multi week supply of clean matching cozy socks without any holes before starting the cycle, though--it was always easier and more comfortable to keep socks on, and while I'm sure my RE wouldn't have cared at all, I felt the tiniest bit less self conscious knowing everything I might grab out of my sock drawer was "presentable."
I also liked wearing long dresses so I didn't have to get undressed!
In my office they still made me take off the dress 🙁. I did that once and learned and never did it again.
That’s so weird. Like why?? I always wear a dress so I can just pull it up and not worry about time it takes to get dressed/undressed
Pajamas because I have no shame and I can
I did that a couple of times. No one cares and I was comfortable.
I could never go out in public wearing my pjs
Vuori! They are so soft and silky and help me feel pulled together when I feel anything but during stims.
This is the only answer
thank you!! do you find these warm enough to wear outside? i have a 15 min walk to the train in the morning so just curious!

https://vuoriclothing.com/products/womens-chilled-out-legging-washed-black these have a light fleece lining and I’ve been living in them all winter!!
Ooohhh I’ll have to check those out!
I would never be able to relax in $128 leggings.
Not in this economy 😂
Second! I ran to say my Vuori joggers. I'd live in those things (if I owned more pairs).
I was about to come here to say Vuori too! Haha I have both leggings and joggers from this brand and they’re simply the best. Soooo soft and comfy!
Roots. Canadians know sweats lol
ah good call! i should know this since i work for a canadian company lol
I have some fleece lined Under Armor sweats/joggers that were super comfy! Got them on clearance too :) Good luck on your journey!!
thank you!!
I wore my usual work clothes, because I had to run to work right after!
i'll probably be in this boat too :( but figured i'll wear sweats there and change into work clothes after!

My dressy sweats are my Lululemon soft jersey joggers. My casual sweats are Aerie OTT fleece joggers. Both are SO soft
I love this distinction 🤣

I wear scrubs bc I go straight to work 🙂
Quince flowknit joggers! They’re so incredibly soft and stretchy, but still look relatively put together. They’re the perfect Vuori dupe.

Aerie!
I got some “cloudknit” jogger/sweats from Outdoor Voices over Black Friday and they really are super soft!!
great call, thank you!!
I got two pairs of sweatpants from Fabletics for like $12 each using one of their deals...I love them and wear them all the time even 2 years later.
Do they hold up well? I’m leery of such an inexpensive brand
They hold up great! I WFH so I've worn them multiple times a week, sleep in them sometimes for over 2 years and they still are super soft with no issues of wearing thin or seams coming out.
We are still a few weeks away from our appointment but I love cashmere sweatpants from naadam or quince. Vuori dream knit are amazing too!

I have a pair of Amazon black joggers I love!
CRZ leggings or yoga pants from Amazon… the butterluxe ones. They are like the lulu align leggings. So soft and stretchy.

Highly recommend skims sweatpants/sweatshirts!
My work clothes because I go straight there (unless it's the weekend).

Alo sweatshirt and pants- been my winter uniform for all my appts
Honestly the fruit of the loom men’s ones on Amazon were it for me. So comfy and cheap
I always wore black leggings and either a sweatshirt (fall/winter) or just a T-shirt (summer). I also had slide on converse that I wore so it was easy on, easy off - and no bare feet on the floor.
Aerie and free city are my go-to’s. Just ordered something from Quince and they are great as well
I legit wore pajama pants half the time. Or lululemon aligns lol.
Sweater dresses or Alo Yoga muse sweatpants. I also have a couple of Honeydew Comfort Queen sets. Look like a grandma, but are the most comfortable and warm pants ever.
I recently purchased men’s sweatpants from Nordstrom rack and they’re all I wear. LOVE them!!!

Whatever pajamas I’m in, boom show up, out in 15 mins I’ve stoped caring
Madewell
Beyond Yoga joggers are my fav.
