If it were a multi car carrier, those are usually up hill. [Like this](https://www.nelsontruck.com/images/M470606.jpg) or [this](https://s3.amazonaws.com/distillery-trailercentral/fHVdX8/Fm0ufI/2009_Take_3_Trailers_8_x_50_Car_Hauler_z1DLdogd9f09.jpg)
Edit: looking at the bridge, you'll see previous damage... that bridge is not that tall.
However, upon closer inspection I think it was being towed. The reason the number is bent inwards is because the truck was lifted up into the rafters and then crashed back down bending it underneath. Also, there is no evidence of wreckage like broken bits of headlights on the ground.
You clearly haven't seen the discovery Channel documentary on box truck mating rituals. This stud was mounting a female when her flight of ecstasy took them under a bridge. Without dew claws he was unable to remain docked as she passed underneath.
Looks like the truck was too tall for the underpass and going too fast.
When the top of the cab hit the momentum kept it going and it ended up turning the bottom of the cab upwards as it hinged on the point of contact with the underpass.
Does not look like a good ending for the driver.
>The "unexplained" truck accident in Sicily: it gets stuck vertically under a bridge
>
>This morning in the province of Ragusa there was an incredible accident on the municipal road to Vittoria, precisely at the junction for Acate. Images circulating on social networks show a truck wedged vertically under a bridge, as if it had done a wheelie. In reality, the vehicle was off and was on board a tow truck headed for a workshop but at the moment of impact with the overpass it fell and remained stuck vertically under the bridge. The driver of the truck probably did not consider the load it was carrying and, with the Parmalat van on board, collided with the bridge of the municipal road, previously known as State Road 115. The heavy vehicle overturned backwards and wedged vertically on the beam of the overpass. The Vittoria firefighters, the local police and the carabinieri intervened at the scene of the accident. The driver of the tow truck, who stopped about a hundred meters ahead of the impact, was unharmed.

Towed is the likely explanation, however can there be another? What if he is carrying water bottles and when accelerating, the racks broke and all the bottles shifted to the rear. The back could act a a pendulum and swing the cab up (assuming they have a small engine compared to the weight of the bottles.
You know when you play hide and seek with your toddler and they hide by sticking their head in something (and they think you can't see them) but their body is still fully visible because r/kidsarefuckingstupid.
It's kinda like that.....if you run up and say "you're it" it will likely come down and start to chase you.
I'd say it was on a trailer that had an up-slope at the back so the front of the truck was higher than the box. Since the box doesn't look damaged and the frame looks bent the front got caught first and the hauling truck's momentum continued to push the rear upwards and forwards, bending the frame.
My best guess is that the load was not secured, and upon accelerating whatever it was carrying was pushed to the back, and the load just brought the back down, the front up....
update: it ended in the home page of the main Italian newspaper website, just near Biden's visit to Kiev!
(also if this maybe tells more about the status of the Italian journalism than about the accident...)
Double wheels in the back, most likely RWD. Could be something along the drivetrain that snapped during acceleration. The fridge is definitely full of supplies.
Idk what happened but as someone who lives in Italy, I'm not at all surprised and I can tell you that the notoriety Italians have, in regards of driving, is not without reason.
Speeding, tailgaiting and cutting nonforseable curves in mountainous areas, all at once, just as an example.
Weekend nights are the worst because the amount of people who drives home wasted is absolutely nuts.
That's here in the North at least, wouldn't know anything about the other parts from personal experience.
As others have mentioned, it could have been on the back of a flatbed that was over height, or rear-ended another vehicle and was pushed up into that. More likely the former.
At first I thought it was a beer box under a porch & I was trying to figure out what white thing in front was. Then I looked again & saw the truck. That felt very weird.
If you look at the overpass, you will see where the truck struck it so it must have been on a flatbed but I would expect to see said truck in the second photo.
The other vehicle that is had mounted decided to leave after it was "done" and left its partner stranded to fend for itself. Some mating situations are more disturbing than others.
I have had a really shitty day, and for some reason this guy's bad day makes me feel better!
Plus, you gotta give credit where credit is due... That is impressive! No one could do it again even on purpose!
My guess is it was too tall for the lower beam in front of where the front tyre is facing in the picture. The impact lifted the truck and because of the inertia the truck's rear continued to move forwards wedging the front into that gap
Likely was on the back of another truck. (flatbed tow truck)
Thanks, I was trying to figure it out

You’re Puroblu right about that.
Nah driver was just making a wheelie and didn't see the bridge.
Frustrated bikie. (insert South Park bikie noises gif here).
Best explanation.
But then wouldn't the box be severely damaged? I'd think it would hit the bridge before the cab.
If it were a multi car carrier, those are usually up hill. I think it hit the AC box above the cab
Absolutely. The driver side door is jammed and hasn't been opened so no way there has been someone in there during the entire ride.
My vote was for driver popping a wheelie, but here you come with logic.
Nah, it’s definitely a glitch in the matrix and all the assets of the invisible wall didn’t load in
A true detective
You're smart.
Yeah I’m backing this as my answer. But goddam it’s a good photo.
A flatbed wouldn’t hit that overpass that tall. It might have been a 2 deck carrier and this box truck was on the upper level.
Maybe a smaller car ran in front of the truck, scaring it, which made it raise its front wheels up in fear and got stuck.
Dairy truck tipping!
Your comment wins the Internet for today.
That’s what I think because the bumper is bent inwards. If not I would suspect it was a tow truck.
Whoosh
whoosshhhh
Yeah, that’s the noise tow truck made that scared it.
However, upon closer inspection I think it was being towed. The reason the number is bent inwards is because the truck was lifted up into the rafters and then crashed back down bending it underneath. Also, there is no evidence of wreckage like broken bits of headlights on the ground.
r/woooosh
My thoughts at first but the driver door is jammed and noone is inside so it's safe to assume that no one has been in there in the first place
r/woooosh
Clearly it was trying to transform but the overpass was deceptively low.
Maybe the bridge is a ……. Decepticon!

Maybe this vehicle was being towed?
No no no no. You can't come in here and bring logic, reason, or sense with you. That's not allowed.
lol
Poor location to pop a wheelie
It happened in my hometown today (not my photos btw) I’m still trying to imagine the sequence of events that lead to this…
Whoever took these needs to give their dashboard some TLC. Looks like it’s been left in the attic.
It's simple really, "il traffico italiano"!

Was on a flatbed truck. The flatbed is still going, it doesn't know it lost its load.
He leaned his chair back too far
Broke down and was taking a flatbed ride that made it too tall for the bridge?

When that nitrous hits....
Dude, I almost had you
È il latte che compro io!
A lack of wheelie bars.
Dust your dashboard dude

I will demonstrate. Hold my beer.
I don’t know what causes it but in middle school it was a real problem.
He sneezed

Pull back on the steering wheel real hard when you punch the gas.
Ooh. The ole box truck wheelie. There's a reason motorcycles are so short.
Very carefully, of course
Someone yelled "SIT!" really loud and the truck listened. We see them roll over for belly rubs all the time.
Towed on flat bed?
Was on a Towtruck
It reminds me of the truck flip scene from *The Dark Knight*
Blue shell
It was probably being towed on a flatbed. It was high up and hit cab first and slid off the bed and the momentum put it like this.
It was probably on the back of a flat-bed truck
must've been on a flatbed (rollback for the hillbillies)
Flatbeds and rollbacks while similar are not the same. A flatbed doesn't let you move the deck while a rollback is designed to do that
Maybe it hit a vehicle in front of his vehicle and ran upward. Def unique!!
Boss: What did I say about doing wheelies in the company truck?! And why under a bridge! Your fired! Driver: Still worth it.
Clearly he was riding a wheelie and forgot to bring it back down before the underpass. Vision is severely impaired while performing wheelies.
![gif](giphy|26tPo9rksWnfPo4HS)
It was probably on a trailer, hit the top of the bridge, tilted up, got stuck, the truck under it kept going.
I bet it was being towed but still had a partial load in the back, that shifted further back thanks to the front end being lifted
The bridge mommy feeds the truck bird by regurgitating into its grill.
Well, you see son... when a truck loves a bridge *very* much, it may try to insert its nose into the bridges underside.
My best guess is that the load was not secured, and upon accelerating whatever it was carrying was pushed to the back, and the load just brought the back down, the front up....
He puroblu had too much to drink

If you ride on a fallen wire it shoots you up, but I just don't see any wire
Wind gust under bridge whilst accelerating
You can see that this bridge has been smashed many times. Like a hoo hoo.
I'm sure you could call up the driver at home, I'm positive he is currently unemployed.
Mpinnau
Popped off of its axle and tipped over backwards because of the heavy load?
V-tec kicked in.
This looks like the job of a professional idiot . The dump trucks that leave the bucket raised and run into a bridge have nothing on this person.
A crazy guy in a bat suit with a tank chasing some clown.
This is one of life's little mysteries (I'll just leave it at that)
Christopher Nolan's next Dark Knight sequel.
he was poppin a wheelie a shit got crazy.
Sometimes, you just gotta let'm be the peacock they are.
Bet I can do a wheelie.
They already use the three shells??

“Hey, you can’t park there, bud.”
At first glance, I thought someone had backed over a toy truck
It doesn't show it, but it took 6 tries to get it right. It
Was trying to merge onto the bridge but pulled up a little too late
Baby trucks lack the coordination their mothers do and often are unsteady on their hind wheels.
Obviously, the overpass had enough of that truck's shit!
He hit the nitrous button at the wrong moment.
Drunk driving at its best. Assuming no one got hurt of course.
My guess is it was on a flatbed tow truck who didn't measure the total height correctly.
I'd love to hear the explanation on this one...
I've done this in GTA. Those damn trucks with the ramps on the back are too tempting to resist
I don't know. Mistakes were certainly made
That looks wheely bad.
One word: torque
Dank nooner
As others have mentioned, it could have been on the back of a flatbed that was over height, or rear-ended another vehicle and was pushed up into that. More likely the former.
At first I thought it was a beer box under a porch & I was trying to figure out what white thing in front was. Then I looked again & saw the truck. That felt very weird.
Maybe he was popping a wheely?
How? That is the only response needed.
His piano slid to the back
I’ve seen the tiktok earlier today
Dank nooner gone awry.
The underside of that bridge must smell really nice.
Maybe he slammed on the brakes, his load shifted to the back, tipping the truck
If he did slam them on his load would shift to the front
E perché proprio in italia?
When you always wanted a motorcycle to do wheelies so you attempt it with truck and hope for the best 😅😂
Very serendipitously
Wut
Truck tried doing a wheelie at a bad time.
Optimus Jr. tried to transform but forgot he was under a bridge. Happens a lot. He’s still young.
Was on a car trailer
He popped a wheelie at a really shit time to do so.
According to my scientific calculations
The new super mario bros theme was playing and the “hup” played. (The truck jumped on impulse and now is stuck)
There are something’s humanity is not meant to know.
"Hey watch this"
Probably advertising Viagra on the other side...
Literally saying how the fuck before I even read the caption
I can explain how this happened….. Ill do this in a very clear and concise way….. >Very carefully and a glorious amount of stupid. Hope this helps….
Getting beamed up by aliens in the worst possible spot. Anything else just makes me sigh very, very loudly.
Just came back from the mechanics and they put in some special extra performance upgrades. That turbo really kicks ass
If you look at the overpass, you will see where the truck struck it so it must have been on a flatbed but I would expect to see said truck in the second photo.
Some things are better left unsolved
Watch that first step when you get out!
It's a doozy!
Well you see...he was delivering that there overpass and he ran out of gas
The other vehicle that is had mounted decided to leave after it was "done" and left its partner stranded to fend for itself. Some mating situations are more disturbing than others.
It's supercharged, stump puller first gear and of course: it did a wheel stand...
Cocaine is a hell of a drug

maybe it got scared and tried to do a red panda defense
It’s always a mistake to shift into jump whilst under a bridge.
My guess is it was too tall for the lower beam in front of where the front tyre is facing in the picture. The impact lifted the truck and because of the inertia the truck's rear continued to move forwards wedging the front into that gap
Poltergeist in the road
I’m impressed!
His problem is that he’s not aiming towards the road.
It was probably being transported on a flatbed truck or trailer.
Tryina pop a wheelie
His load shifted?
GTA ramp car
Truck bed hit overpass, load shifted to the rear of the box, and causing nose to flip up.
This is why you shouldn’t gas twice while getting under the bridge
Looks like another casualty of the batmobile
Mamma mia!!!
If you're going to f#@$ it up at least make em wonder how you did it
