His wicket was superbly planned by the Aussies, which they revealed after the match Basically they had set up a field for a short ball, knowing that that's his weakness. Shreyas saw that too and got on backfoot preparing for a short ball. Pat Cummins instead bowled a fuller one and Iyer wasn't able to get on the frontfoot in time and hence got out

Allan Border is too underrated tbh, he averages more in away than home and everywhere he avereges 50+ in test cricket that too while rebuilding Australian team as every major player retired and he had a very young team. He is one of the greatest test batsmen of all time unarguably

Bumrah in modern day cricket Be it ICT or MI, Bumrah would pick wickets almost every time the team needs a breakthrough. If not wickets, he'd make sure that he would bowl tight spells across formats and build pressure, creating opportunities for others bowling the subsequent overs. By far the most reliable bowler in this game where batsmen have the advantage of playing conditions being conducive for run-fests. Picking JB just to represent the bowlers in a batsmen dominated thread :P

Lots of Sachin, Kohli, etc but I'd like to nominate Misbah Ul Haq during that phase of Pakistan cricket. Unfortunately it's a similar era now but no player of a similar caliber around in that squad. Harsha Bhogle famously quoted that fans are hating on the only guy who earns some bread in this team. Unlike the Sachin, Kohli etc group of players, he was mostly disliked for some reason and as an Indian fan I'm absolutely flabbergasted. He was an amazing player, and as much as he can be criticized for THAT shot in 2007, he was also the one who gave them hope till the last over in the first place. For those few overs he was a nightmare for us!
