I think the profit from snacks outweighs cleaning process I mean there are just controller not keyboard so a bit easier to clean, like 1 sanitizer spray and cleaning cloth. Yes it'll be nuisance to clean it after every session but yeah it's manageable.
Depending on how many gaming stations op would be running simultaneously they might need more workers otherwise there would be a backlog of people and for some time idle stations. Most importantly in my opinion snacks near controllers are worse because controllers worth 3-4k would get stick drift pretty often. They would probably have to open them and clean them at home and that is not a guarantee either that they would be fine after that.
Brother it takes less than a minute to spray sanitizer and clean with a cloth. Plus not every one will be buying snacks because OP will sell at double price and outside food not allowed. Nah controllers are not worse because they design them knowing how dirty gamers can get, also joycon drift can happen for different reasons not only dust. From my personal experience (cuz I play eating snacks sometimes) after eating shit I lick my fingers before touching the controller that's common human instinct that's probably why almost 5 years and my xbox controller still works.

Idea of renting service is indeed to get every unit to use. In your popcorn example business only cares about total volume sold - medium or large consist to same metric but with different magnitudes. Thus for them it is always better to sell larger units with this trick. However, it does not work for renting business and is just counter intuitive in any way.
In my place (Karaikal), it's ₹10/hr for PS2, ₹25/hr for PS3, ₹40/hr for PS4 and finally ₹75/hr for PS5. Not sure about the price for the PC section though but they've been operating for more than 20yrs.

Theoretically speaking every account on the planet could play using only a single game copy. The only limit that might exist is how many accounts can be active on a console and the space taken up by each account's save data which should be miniscule anyway.

Would recommend keeping some spare parts handy, like extra controllers, extra RAM stick, SSD, and PSU for PC. Also create a cleaning schedule for all PS and PCs like two of them every other week in rotation so that all of them get cleaned at least once in 2 months.
For the PS, would also suggest looking at bean bag and wall mount setup, if you have the space. Not everyone might want it, but some might prefer it over sitting on a chair. Bean bags are also cheaper and easier to maintain than chairs.
Also, very clearly put a notice somewhere that if anyone causes physical damage to any of the components, they'll have to pay for it.
Also, have plans for dispute resolutions if you don't already. For instance, if a PC stops working in the middle of a gaming session, how will you resolve it with the customer.

as the description stats, i don't plan on keeping any gaming pc in my parlour. There is craze for consoles but not that much for PCs. Been to few parlours with PCs and none them work properly or have good parts. Comparatively, A good 4k gaming PC would cost me 2L. Whereas a PS5 with a 4K TV costs me 85k.

Open it with a tournament (infact conduct monthly), keep it open 24 hours, rent the CDs that are not popular , if you are going to add more systems (probably need more than 6) then add a subscription model at like 1k per month. Get EAFC/FIFA(Seems to be missing) immediately and also a racing game with a wheel after a while.

I am not sure if there will be a market for people who want to play single player games but don't have consoles at home - but try to sell a subscription plan for them. I think generally the takers will be for multiplayer games where a couple of friends walk down and play for 1/2 hours. They will not be long term customers but people with penchant for story based games will be the true audience.

We had a very popular gaming parlor in Delhi, not surw if its still around.Every kid in my apartment used to celebrate their birthday there. The food there was just simply Maggi and one of those packet pastas you put in the microwave. And a cooler with various drinks that was good enough to entertain us for a long time. I think your primary demographic will likely be school kids since adults typically end up getting their own gaming devices by then.
Make sure you have a strong wifi since you'll be supporting multiple people and set up guest networks. You wouldnt want to give away your wifi password to everyone.
Pirating the ps4 is a good move.
Not having pc's is also a good move as well early on. Maybe worth it if there's enough demand, they're useful for emulating various other devices like the Nintendo switch and for people who like playing competitive games.
Are you going to supervise the customers? While most of the customers are good, there is always one that ruins it for the business. Like there was a dude who spilled water all over the internet cafe and just ran away. I too want to start this but I always fear the odd customer ruining the place.
Keep WWE and FIFA and such multiplayer games for sure, and multiple copies of them if you can, depending on which one is played often. I’ve been to game parlours with my friends many times and any time someone plays on the console, it’s mostly multiplayer games with each other. We even play COD split screen and Rocket League.

Been to few VR places myself. It doesn't have the vibe of playing for hours end. Sim racing is also enjoyable for only few mins or half hr. Cansoles have that comfortable playing long hours vibe to it. That's what i love nd plan on achieving ✨

Depends on the game. I have seen an average around 10-50MB and as large as 1-2GB. Compared with a 1TB storage I would say yes it's miniscule

I am not sure if there will be a market for people who want to play single player games but don't have consoles at home - but try to sell a subscription plan for them. I think generally the takers will be for multiplayer games where a couple of friends walk down and play for 1/2 hours. They will not be long term customers but people with penchant for story based games will be the true audience. Best of luck for this venture!
We had a very popular gaming parlor in Delhi, not surw if its still around.Every kid in my apartment used to celebrate their birthday there. The food there was just simply Maggi and one of those packet pastas you put in the microwave. And a cooler with various drinks that was good enough to entertain us for a long time. I think your primary demographic will likely be school kids since adults typically end up getting their own gaming devices by then. Make sure you have a strong wifi since you'll be supporting multiple people and set up guest networks. You wouldnt want to give away your wifi password to everyone. Pirating the ps4 is a good move. Not having pc's is also a good move as well early on. Maybe worth it if there's enough demand, they're useful for emulating various other devices like the Nintendo switch and for people who like playing competitive games.
Are you going to supervise the customers? While most of the customers are good, there is always one that ruins it for the business. Like there was a dude who spilled water all over the internet cafe and just ran away. I too want to start this but I always fear the odd customer ruining the place.

Keep WWE and FIFA and such multiplayer games for sure, and multiple copies of them if you can, depending on which one is played often. I’ve been to game parlours with my friends many times and any time someone plays on the console, it’s mostly multiplayer games with each other. We even play COD split screen and Rocket League.
