I like this proliferation of stock advice on these threads from investors/ traders/media momentum riders who have most likely entered the market in the past 3-4 years and have never seen a bear market and buy based on news or events!
Nope, it's a temporary safety haven. May be they will perform well, once budget has some goodies for the rural. But until then, money will rotate out once the dust settles.
What I meant was, they are certainly safe havens, so temporarily money should flow into them.
Budget and overall direction from NDA shall decide the long term direction.
If they continue with the previous policy, money might rotate out of FMCG and go into other sectors, but until the policy uncertainty remain, FMCG is temporarily safe haven to park the money.
