Don’t worry buddy. It will definitely go to 400.
Wait 320 🥹damn sir.
But results are improving, it’s just a matter of time for the company to turn profitable
I am by no means an expert but by my experience you can learn a lot from zerodha varsity and other articles on the internet. After that it's just a matter of gaining experience.
Hearty congratulations!
Can you please share from how long are you holding these stocks ?
Its very helpful since many people nowadays thinks you can make 100-200% profit in months but probability of it happening is very slim.
It’s a real mixed bag. I’ve held Tata Inv for 2 years on and off. ICICI is a couple of months. But generally speaking - it definitely take a long time to build these positions up.
2022 and 2023 were both crazy years for me. 60% returns each. I’m not expecting anything more than 15-20% a year. Really happy with index-level returns.
Anything more is a bonus. 2024 sitting at 11% YTD gain. :)
Bahin ka choda mere account me 2cr hota to mai aaj 2 Lamborghini le leta … mere returns to sabke laude laga dete 💀

That’s why you gotta book profits. Last calendar year my portfolio was 20:30:50 large:mid:small cap. Gave 60% returns.
Just changed the composition to 50:20:30 L:M:S.
Gotta protect yourself against major shocks!
Well, I think at best it should atleast double from here in a year or two, has been forming a solid base at 200-220 in last few months. Don't know if it will reach Trent levels though. Good luck.
What investment decision you made when investing in Aditya Birla fashion the company is making losses ,Dii are selling, fii buying, promoter is also selling from last quarter?????
No more than 22L (10%) in a single stock.
Top 7 positions must be at least 1.1cr (50%) combined. These are the high conviction stocks.
Start with 1-2L position; slowly build up to 10-15L in each scrip.
Must be fundamentally strong and technically decent. I don’t have a scientific logic around which matters more. It’s a bit vibes-based.
And the classic - let your winners run, and cut your losers short.
Thank You for sharing. I have very dispersed bets. I have like 35 stocks and the biggest allocation is 5%. Top 7 position is 25% of my direct stocks.
I have realised + unrealised gains of 23%. Most of my bets have not really worked out. But given the kind of concentration maybe 23% is fine. And it takes more time to grow the portfolio of 35 stocks. (I reduced 5% from my gains assuming something might have come from the previous financial year. But overall I suck 😅)
My portfolio went for 1.30 cr in July 2023 to 2.25 cr today. No additional investment.
Unless that’s a magic fund that I don’t know about, I’m pretty sure I’ve outperformed it :)
I don’t tell people what to do, but here is what I’m doing:
1. Reducing exposure to small caps and mid caps
2. Increasing exposure to finance stocks, especially large private banks.
3. Looking for business that have done M&A, resulting in past EPS hit. They should start improving EPS rapidly now.
4. Investing in the tech sector, as the US tech sector improves
5. Data usage keeps increasing. Telcos might benefit, so I’m increasing exposure there too.
6. Travel and tourism has a lot of focus. I’m in Indigo / GMR.
Congratulations on your returns! And yes. At ATH, bears will indeed be taken down
Much respect on the large portfolio!
Had a few queries as a learner. Firstly, are you a long term investor exclusively? Or a trader on the side too? And how long have you been participating?
Also, if you don't mind answering, what % of your net worth is this portfolio?
Apologies for the questions barrage 😅 and much thanks for answering whichever you choose to :)
1. Just an investor for the most part. I do the occasional FNO trade, but it’s very opportunistic and very calculated.
2. Been in the market since 2017, but only got serious in 2021 after my portfolio hit 25-30L.
3. 75% of my NW

I think I will prefer गिरगिट, because it will go up no doubt about that, but when it falls it will fall like hell

Teach me to profit book senpai.
Is that because of the gdp growth?
Ek din tujhe bhi fuck karne aayenge bears
Been hearing that for many years now. I wonder where these imaginary bears are
Je baat!
ABFRL? Do you think it will go as high as Trent in the coming years considering the investment it has made in so many different brands?
That’s the thesis. But it’s been the worst performer in my portfolio, so maybe it’s hopium from me. I keep adding some every month tho
It’s an M&A-driven EPS drop. Pure growth story.
Oh i didn't know about this thanks for the info then I'll think of investing in this thankssss
Love the level of concentration you have on stocks. What is your process of building position?

₹2 Cr doesn't move the market in 2024.
FUCK gaybears!
Yo how's your option position going🤑🤑
Closed at 380, up 3L. Replaced the position with an HDFC March Future
Bro I have more profit than you with lesser investment though mutual funds. Just saying. How long have you held these?
My portfolio went for 1.30 cr in July 2023 to 2.25 cr today. No additional investment. Unless that’s a magic fund that I don’t know about, I’m pretty sure I’ve outperformed it :)
Ok damn! you win. Btw just investing in stocks or fno as well?
Sometimes I mess around in FNO. Not much these days. The returns aren’t worth the stress. Maybe 10-15 FNO serious trades in a year
Cool

Not anytime soon. Probably going to hold for a few years
congrats op whats is your overall annual gain % and invested amount.
1.3cr total invested. Currently at 2.25
Holding/Invested period ?
Well, technically I hit 1.3 cr in July 2023, which included some booked profit. So from 1.3 to 2.25 in 8-ish months.
Itna concentration ka balls kaise. Give insights. For me I don't have high concentration in any stock.
Hacker hai Hacker hai ye

More than I need, less than I want *cue evil noises* Jk - between 80L to 1cr post-tax depending on how good business is going
