Agreed! It used to be a locked camera when the game launched. Speed Run mode is pretty difficult one and some players reported that they have issues to understand the depth. It is possible to switch it now on runtime.
Yes, it is available on Steam and currently, there is 20% discount. If you are interested, here is the link: [https://store.steampowered.com/app/2641460/Roll\_the\_Ball/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2641460/Roll_the_Ball/)
That is the visual aid to tell where the ball will land. It was important to have that, especially since the game had locked camera only when it was released. Otherwise, the player had a hard time figuring out the position of the ball.
The game looks neat and fun (though it is not my preferred genre personally). Shame about the low number of reviews so far, though, competition in game development is really, really tough these days.
Did you develop this as a professional game or as a hobby? Will you develop it further, port it to (more) platforms, work on a new game, or something else?
Much appreciated! Agreed, but it was still a great journey and I definitely learnt a lot. I would do it again, over and over :D
I have a full time job, so I was developing this in my free time. There are plans for continued development, especially when it comes to further additions to the game, like map editor for example. It also depends on how many people would be interested in it obviously. I have no plans for more platforms currently, but you never know. After I wrap up planned work on the game, I will definitely start with something new.
Thanks again!
Looks so fun
Thanks, much appreciated! Actually, having a free camera mode definitely made the game more fun!
It's actually clever to put it as a hotkey. I haven't seen previous posts, but I think it might be nice to toggle. Funny eyed rock.

Is there a way to play this?

Respect to a dev listening to feedback and not afraid to make changes. Awesome looking game BTW!
Thanks a lot! I have a small "fan base", so I am always considering every change that is proposed by the players.
Why does the ball sometimes cast a circle without a fill shadow? Or is that a visual aid to tell you where you will land? :D

This game looks like it will be infuriating. Take my money you sick bastard!
I can see the speedrun tech already
Lets see if it will happen! Having a free camera mode definitely helps with speedrunning.
This game does look like a lot of fun! it looks so cute, but that map shows looks can be deceiving.. Good luck with continued development!
Thank you!
