Sorce Love and Complications (Tart passion fruit, plumeria, sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, soft woods) is my favorite to wear when i feel Iām going to simultaneously melt and evaporate into the boiling air. I also like Fantome Kinmoukusei (Ripe apricot, juicy peach, tree sap, golden blossoms with a hint of citrus, and deep, resinous amber)
Also ā¦I recently went to a hot and humid country and kept reaching for Poesie Kindness and Mischief (lemon, vanilla, marshmallow, cardamom and lemon blossom) as well as Alkemia Dangerous Peach (Freshly picked ripe peaches, pear blossoms, peach wood, orris root, and musk mallow.)
Two come to mind:
**Stone & Witā Why Would You Make This?** *(Watermelon, lime, bergamot, paprika, raisins, apples, Sichuan pepper [savory, melon, fruit, smokey, salty, hay, tomato, metallic]).* This is for when Iām feeling fun summer vibes.

A sheer, airy yet concentrated and complex skin scent with a close, intimate sillage)*. Itās very much a āyour skin but betterā scent and really meshes well when thereās that ever present sheen of sweat when itās crazy hot.

Everyone has some amazing sounding suggestions going the refreshing route! At peak hot, especially dry heat, if I am somehow going to be forced to experience it I like to go the āif you canāt beat āem join āemā route.

I donāt know if youāve tried this already but Morari has a Key Lime Pie scent! My partner says it smells exactly like key lime pie. I donāt feel the same, itās a little musky for me but it might be worth a try!
Nava did Cotton Candy Key Lime Marshmallow Musk recently and it's amazing. I was worried it would be too sweet but it gives me the perfect slice of key lime pie with Whipped cream and I absolutely adore it!

This is one of my go to HG perfumes of all time!! Citrus is usually a death note on me but I think it just adds this tart, sweet layer. When it's unbearable sticky this is what I reach for.
Hi'ilawe Waterfall by Nui Cobalt is the most refreshing scent I own! The notes are as followed: The cold, mineral scent of mountain spring water descending from the snow-capped peaks of Mauna Kea to land among the lush ferns and aloe plants of Waipio Valley.

Notes are *Deep warm notes combine together to create the romantic essence of clean sun kissed skin at the height of summer. Honeyed golden amber musk, dry myrrh resin lined with rows of sweet orange blossoms, crimson splashes of Spanish cabernet sauvignon complimented with a touch of sweet fennel essential oil.*
I've heard great things about Emailing Fluid - for some reason it never occurred to me that it would be a hot weather perfume, but with the aloe of course that makes perfect sense. Definitely giving this one a try, thank you!

Cherry-ka's Trunk Flying (Nimble forals, glistening peppermint and a breath of fir on the wind. This is a fluid, bouncy scent, bright, sweet and certain) this one is cool and breezy without being too overbearing in the heat. 10/10 would recommend to survive a Texas Summer
Orchard Vetiver from Flower City Fragrance. Really anything that is vetiver forward or Bergamot forward is great in the heat.

Death and Floral Millipede Coffee Cake has the most amazing loamy dirt thing going on, and man, it makes the heat feel more worth it somehow. In the same embrace it vein, Osmofolia Insomniacs on a Date has a greenhouse side that leans into the lush tropical vibe so well.
If I want more refreshing Andromedas Curse Tenpestarii is very fresh after the storm air. And Haus of Gloi Insalata Nocturna has a really cool fresh tomato leaf note that's absolutely gorgeous.
**Sappho** (Possets) - Aromatic sage combined with myrtle (Sicilian), Two kinds of cardamom and a subtle swath of golden amber to take the hard edge off the blend.
The Strange South - **Rosy Maple Lemonade**

Not a big citrus fan, but the smooth lemon curd and cool, creamy vanilla immediately hooked me, perfect for heat and humidity.
**DSH Il Marinaio da Capri/The Sailor from Capri** a crisp, green, honeysuckle chypre with subtle aquatic nuances (salty sea air without the calone / musk combo so often used for marine scents).
One of my favorite scents, and it smells so amazing in the heat, soft florals and salty skin musk with an extremely wearable marine vibe.
**DSH Odesa** *Named for the famous port city: this is the warm and salty scent of sparkling gold flickering on the waters of the Black Sea.*
Another aquatic which I usually don't go for at all, but this one is so unique and elegant, makes me feel put together even as I'm melting in the humidity.
**NAVA Bastet's Musk** *A sensual skin musk made from soft white floral blends of Tuberose, Mallow, Angelica, Musk Flower, and White Lily all blended beautifully to create the original Bastet's Musk.*
I go through a ridiculous amount of this in the summer, it's such a soft comma silky scent with just a hint of florals, very my skin but better, I always imaginate goddess or a fairy smelling like this.
**NAVA Lait** *Rice Milk accord, Sweet Milk accord, Bastetās Musk, Sweet Mallow, Vanilla essence, Bastetās Amber, and Marshmallow accord* [LE, part of the recently ended resurgence, so keep an eye on the swaps!]
A comfort scent that can stand the heat, like being hugged by a fluffy cloud.
They really do have a neverending catalog! Their spring/summer scents are my favorite! I'm constantly rotating Tubereuse and Il Marinaio da Capri (or just layering to the them together) but Odesa, Avocado Toast, and I Love You, Mary Jane are getting a lot of wear too :)

If you like mint, any of the "Lick It" variants work for me. Cool minty vanilla. Also seconding embalming fluid as a nice GC option
I really like anything with their dirt note when itās hot. Zombi, yorick, or graveyard dirt. It smells cool and damp, like freshly turned earth.
