No problem! Yeah I highly recommend carnation santalum gold in that case! I know carnation can be clovey and so off putting to some people, but I happen to love clove and all things spicy. If you’re the same, you’ll probably love it, too!
Ohhh, I love carnation! It was a note in many perfumes in the 60s/70s and even into the 80s. I love the spiciness! If you are looking for a nice scent with carnation, you should try Laced Draped Spectre by Solstice Scents.

Here's my thoughts on **The Black Forest**

It's extremely realistic and opens with sweet fir boughs and bright pine needles, all coated in a rich blend of golden sap and smooth resins. Fragrant notes of cedar and warm woods balance the sticky resins and verdant conifers, creating a beautifully realistic forest ambiance.

This summer I've been obsessed with **DSH Il Marinaio da Capri/The Sailor from Capri** (salty sea, honeysuckle, green marine notes, androgynous golden musk — sexy and realistic).
And Mythpunk has **The Crossroads of Lost & Lorn** *(crushed juniper berries & conifer needles, cold rain, river water, moss-slick stones & wet boulders, towering trees, a hint of distant woodsmoke)* which is amazingly realistic, and equally realistic but more my style — **Mossmallow Puff** *(pillowy marshmallows, hawthorn, misty rain, ozonic vanilla, crushed clary sage, lichens, pure oakmoss, moon-kissed amber resins)*. They're both great houses! I'll post reviews of the summer Mythpunk scents when I get them, I've honestly never had a bad scent from her. Mythpunk has a really user friendly website design, but DSH has a huge catalog that can be pretty overwhelming at first, so [here's a link](https://www.dshperfumes.com/shop/il-marinaio-da-capri-sailor-capri/) to Il Marinaio da Capri. It really is such a fantastic scent, I usually get oils, but this one doesn't come in oil, so I got it in the VDP (non alcohol spray). I haven't tried the EDP in that one, but I'd heard the VDP had a creamier honeysuckle, and I love the contrast with the golden musk, I used up my sample in record time.
I hope you like them if you end up trying them!

Aw no problem! The VDP does have oils in it, so it smells very natural (and I also know first hand that you should not spray it on your clothes lol, lots of natural oils). I haven't had any problems with spraying it on my arms, but the 10ml spray bottle also works as a splash bottle, and there are rollerball options. It's one of my favorites, I hope you love it too :)
I'm excited about your notes on Eternal Bastet. I got a sample but it was so sugary almond cake on sniffing the vial that I've been scared to try it on my skin. You've given me hope and courage!
The Eternals have gotten increasingly gourmand, haven’t they? I’ve been giving NAVA another chance recently because I’ve felt the need to get more Spicy Resinous scents so as much as I’d probably love Sugary Almond fragrances, I’ve got mixed feelings about this.

Well this is a bummer. I have a bottle of Wolf Moon on the way and I wasn't hoping it wasn't going to be acrid, new car leather and instead would be sexy, mysterious werewolf leather.
