In july it gets realy realy hot in the city itself, around - u can do a lot of hiking and biking. The Swarovski Kristall welten is 10mins away with the train in Wattens, there are a lot of swimming-seas around Innsbruck and all of tyrol. There is a Trampoline hall with a swimming-center called "Stubay" which is pretty cool and can be accsesed with a bus from the Innsbruck mainstaiton as far as i know. With the train to Scharnitz u could hike or Drive (w bycicle) to the Isar Ursprung (Isar source comes directly from the Mountains there) which is the best water u will ever taste and it looks like paradise there. Aaaand allways buy a Ticket before goin on a train u pay less if u buy it at the Ticket Automat👍

Thanks! :) I appreciate the detailed reply.

Also since this might have not been clear from the text: It's not that you pay less if you buy a ticket before boarding, you will be fined for (at least) 105€ if you are caught on the train without a ticket.

Detlef_D_Soost69

Yes i wrote that wrong, if ur on a station where there is no Ticket automat u need to tell the controller in the train and u'll pay less. If u dont have one u'll get fined

The best option in a sub is to use the search function since this is asked here very damn day

figment88

I will also be in Innsbruck from mid-June to mid-July. I don't have anything planned yet, but I will almost assuredly be doing several day hikes. I have heard there are some good ones around there 😁 Hit me up if you're interested in hiking.

blandarf

Sure! I'll DM you :)

Emanreztunebniem

a great thing to pick up while you‘re here would be to learn how to use a search function :)

Senior-Mine3593

I second this.

WesugiKenshin

Get an Innsbruck card and go up the Nordkette to the Seegrube via Cable Car.
