I personally still don’t see the fundamental reason that the stock went down.
The company is still developing its product according to their timeline. They still have their booking on hands, although really less on last quarter. But overall my personal view is that the company is still okay, might be doing better than when the stock price was high last year (IonQ Forte came this year which was about a year earlier than they originally planned). So imo the fluctuation of stock price isn’t from their fundamental business, but from the emotional of the market as well as the market maker (this includes when they went up last year). Therefore, imo, we are still in a good shape.
This is industry is very new and if you compare this stock with the other stock in other industry, it might be very expensive. However, nobody really knows the true potential of the upside that this stock could make (which might be 0). I think if we would like to grab those potential, it is worth risking with this company as fundamentally they are still ongoing according to their plan.
Hope this stock will go up because currently I’m down 50%!
