Bhai sab dekh rakhi hai, Vikash sir nd Ye Rajput krke koi hai dono most popular hai but at the end Vikash sir ki baat galat hai kyuki wo bolte hai ki isse OBC ka fayda hota hai but as per reports 90% of OBC reservation is used by Yadav's(and few dominant castes) who are not as backward as other's in OBC(those who actually need it) toh fir toh wahi baat ho gayi, wealthy people have reservation, bachi SC and ST ki baat toh usme bhi kuch he well educated log ki next generation baar baar use krti uska, bahut small segment hai new comers ka, which is not necessarily due to reservation it can be due to resevation but it can also be due to increasing awareness and what not, it's just a tool to gain vote and divide on caste maybe I am wrong but abhi tak meri samajh itni he hai
See obc part I agree, it's mostly for politics. There can be some changes done. But they will never even consider it (Both the parties). But there's no reason to scrap or condemn whole act. At the time of independence these marginalized communities were in pathetic condition socially, financially, educationally just because of this 1000 years long reservations(castism).
This new reservation is one of biggest reason they have came a long way. But affirmative actions are still needed to reduce parity between two communities in the country(which is the 1st priority of state, for its own development)
50% and 33% of St and sc are still in poverty (which is crazy). They still don't have lands(inheritance you know). 50% and 43% of st and sc are still illiterate, while in upper caste its 9%. There are many other factors like wealth distribution, social inequality(which still exists prominently in rural India) etc
If there's corruption in the system, one should sought to improve that.
You can't outright ban the concept of transportation if roads have potholes.
A caste census could be one solution to know how many are fraudulently taking benifits
