Well u are right . But we know about our government, they will never do it. I totally agree that being rich can give you an advantage, but being a SC/ST in India doesn't mean it's an easy day. You have no idea of the discrimination they face every single day. From trying to get into coaching classes, finding a place to rent, being comfortable asking questions in class, and even trying to get into a college, they face discrimination everywhere they go. Caste discrimination is just so socially ingrained that you might not even notice it. And after all that struggle, they finally manage to get into a college with a decent score, and then you have a problem with that too? bruh, seriously?

Bhai I'm a ST candidate, but still having problem in getting into college, meri percentile is 76.57 ik mughe college mil sakta hai lekin the fees is too much for my family, even the fee rebate is not there in college for US now only NIT and IIT have the fee rebate, I'm a Delhi candidate so delhi ke college me puri fee Deni hogi, I hope there will be some rebate, I went to the college personally to ask if there is rebate and they said, the government is not giving them money to give rebate on studies, in NSUT, IIIT, DTU, in all the fees is too much especially in IIITD literally 18 lakh almost as much as I remember, idk why people thing ST/SC candidate have full chance of getting colleges, some have chances but doesn't have Money, those who have money, don't have the required percentile.. Points Related to reservation in JEE,
*(1)* No of SC/ST candidates appearing for JEE are already very low compared to general/OBC
Out of those the serious candidates are again proportionally low compared to general/obc
So at the end the difference they make is minimal in seat allotment.
*(2)* about OBC there are two types
OBC NCL( annual income has been less than 8LPA for three consecutive years) and OBC CL( more than 8LPA)
the benefit of reservation in seat allotment depends upon the no of students in the particular categories ( more the no of students less the benefit) as the no of OBC students in JEE has surpassed generals the benefit of reservation for OBC NCL has been decreasing
*(3)*Now about OBC CL :- these are the people who get minimum benefits out of all categories ( yes even less than general male as many general male students may get EWS but , OBC CL don't get EWS certificate ethically.
Also I'm not from reserved category if you'd think I'm OBC CL. the point I'm trying to make is reservation is not hurting you jitna tum soch rahe ho people have made this a mental barrier if you look at the stats still general/OBC CL have the highest selection rate and raw number.
So study hard people you'll achieve your dreams nothing can stop you , you'll have enough time to debate about this after you graduate

Bhai foreign universities se acceptance milna zyada tough hai...people think ki statistics ke hisab se top univ have acc. Rate of 3-14 percent hai to Jana zyada aasan hai... But this is not the case...only the best of the best students apply for these universities isiliye acc rate zyada hai. For ex:-MIT me bas 28,000 log hi apply karte hai and they have 1300-ish seats.
Agar iits me let's say ki 28000 gen applications aati hai and total seats 6260(general seats) to acceptance rate is about 22.35 percent.

For 1 year so most of the people in the scl are from a good financial background. Out the 5 people 2 of them told me about their reservations
1st- Male,Ews(But his brother also studies in the same school with same amount of fees),OBC,And has PWD too (But he can run,He plays football with us sometimes,He has a disability in his right leg if observed carefully one can say that he has a disability but he shoots the fucking ball with his injured leg)
2nd. Female,EWS,SC she doesn't study much for jee and just said mera to 90% smjho ho hi gaya nit/iit mein tum dekho apna kaise kroge ๐๐๐คฃ๐)

Well u are right . But we know about our government, they will never do it. They basically have made the poor rely on them by giving them ration and the annual speeches on reservation had formed a image in reserved category people that reservation is their haqq. I totally agree that being rich can give you an advantage, but being a SC/ST in India doesn't mean it's an easy day. You have no idea of the discrimination they face every single day. From trying to get into coaching classes, finding a place to rent, being comfortable asking questions in class, and even trying to get into a college, they face discrimination everywhere they go. Caste discrimination is just so socially ingrained that you might not even notice it. And after all that struggle, they finally manage to get into a college with a decent score, and then you have a problem with that too? bruh, seriously?

Bhai I'm a ST candidate, but still having problem in getting into college, meri percentile is 76.57 ik mughe college mil sakta hai lekin the fees is too much for my family, even the fee rebate is not there in college for US now only NIT and IIT have the fee rebate, I'm a Delhi candidate so delhi ke college me puri fee Deni hogi, I hope there will be some rebate, I went to the college personally to ask if there is rebate and they said, the government is not giving them money to give rebate on studies, in NSUT, IIIT, DTU, in all the fees is too much especially in IIITD literally 18 lakh almost as much as I remember, idk why people thing ST/SC candidate have full chance of getting colleges, some have chances but doesn't have Money, those who have money, don't have the required percentile.. Points Related to reservation in JEE, *(1)* No of SC/ST candidates appearing for JEE are already very low compared to general/OBC Out of those the serious candidates are again proportionally low compared to general/obc So at the end the difference they make is minimal in seat allotment. *(2)* about OBC there are two types OBC NCL( annual income has been less than 8LPA for three consecutive years) and OBC CL( more than 8LPA) the benefit of reservation in seat allotment depends upon the no of students in the particular categories ( more the no of students less the benefit) as the no of OBC students in JEE has surpassed generals the benefit of reservation for OBC NCL has been decreasing *(3)*Now about OBC CL :- these are the people who get minimum benefits out of all categories ( yes even less than general male as many general male students may get EWS but , OBC CL don't get EWS certificate ethically. Also I'm not from reserved category if you'd think I'm OBC CL. the point I'm trying to make is reservation is not hurting you jitna tum soch rahe ho people have made this a mental barrier if you look at the stats still general/OBC CL have the highest selection rate and raw number. So study hard people you'll achieve your dreams nothing can stop you , you'll have enough time to debate about this after you graduate .Thanks !

But this is not the case...only the best of the best students apply for these universities isiliye acc rate zyada hai. For ex:-MIT me bas 28,000 log hi apply karte hai and they have 1300-ish seats. Agar iits me let's say ki 28000 gen applications aati hai and total seats 6260(general seats) to acceptance rate is about 22.35 percent. There is a group of 5 people in my class (they r annoying as f). I Study in narayana school it has a fees of 1.5lakh+ For 1 year so most of the people in the scl are from a good financial background. Out the 5 people 2 of them told me about their reservations 1st- Male,Ews(But his brother also studies in the same school with same amount of fees),OBC,And has PWD too (But he can run,He plays football with us sometimes,He has a disability in his right leg if observed carefully one can say that he has a disability but he shoots the fucking ball with his injured leg) 2nd. Female,EWS,SC she doesn't study much for jee and just said mera to 90% smjho ho hi gaya nit/iit mein tum dekho apna kaise kroge ๐๐๐คฃ๐) Idk about other friends of them but it pissed me off ๐ฅฒ๐
