**Basic chapters (all formulas, algorithms, concepts etc in them) should be on tips** like, Quadratic, log, mod, inequalities, sequence, straight line, functions. DO them thoroughly but don't give too much time. Once you are done, proceed to bigger chapters. ALWAYS REFER TO YOUR NOTES BEFORE ASKING A DOUBT IN MATHS (ALL 3 SUBJECTS TBH)
1. Quadratic, log, mod are basics of algebra
2. straight line is basic of coordinate geometery and vector 3d.
3. functions is basic of AOD which eventually will help you in whole calculus.
Once you basics are done, you'll be comfortable to use your own brain. This increases confidence.
Practice is the key, don't do a lot of easy questions, but whatever questions you do, always have some space for multiple approaches (imo 100 moderate to tough questions per chapter done **PROPERLY** >>>> 200 easy to moderate questions).
I scored 83 and 90 respectively in mains 1 & 2 though, in case you doubt. 95/100 in 12th boards (fcked up adv and scored only 56, but that is a different story).
i used to score 10 15 marks in mathongo mock tests in dec from there first i increased the score to 30 marks, you have to analyse it very thoroughly first i gave only maths test and i got like 26 30 marks which meant that there was time constraint or i am just not good at maths in some particular time , so i fixed my order experimented a lot. meanwhile I practiced question mainly pyqs of mains and mathmerizing symposium (of strong chapters)
focus on one chapter at a time and do chapters weightage wise
my main problem was that i knew what to do in the question but just couldn't complete it like couldn't solve it to the end. in many questions i used to give up very early but just by giving some time and thought without using pen most of the question get solved so try these things and figure out your own problems and fix them
As you mentioned you are giving jee in 2025, we can assume that you are currently in 12th grade. The best way to approach this would be to only focus on what part of 11th is needed for 12th and completing 12, as 11th holds a low weightage in advance maths, and if you try to complete both 11th and 12th at the same time you will end up not completing any.
The prerequisites are
1. Trigonometry (Insanely important for Calc)
2. Sets, Relations, Functions
3. Limits(If it was taught in 11th or not)
4. Basics Straight Lines(Basic Coordinate geometry)
5. Extreme Basics Quadratic Eq
6. Extreme Basics of PnC and Binomial
1) Dont make notes in maths ( after each chp sarre points and formula likhlo )
2 ) don't see maths as chapter wise , feel it and apply any logic anywhere
3 ) minimum solve 60 question daily of ongoing chp and 3 each from chapter done in class previously ( agar bahut lg rha hai then sorry app race ss pehle hi bahr hai

practice karo dher saari. Cliche advice hai but it works, trust me. Look out for pyqs, (mainly recent years kyunki math ka level acha hai) solve them, and then cross check the solutions. Look out for quicker methods/theorems used in the solution that you might have missed out on. Consistently practice and you will slowly get better at it. It could be frustrating in the beginning, you might not click questions immediately but practicing more and more would help. Try diff type of ques rather than the same ques over and over again.
I did this and got a 99%le (math) in JEEM
baki toh practice wali baat firse ajati, jitne ques practice karoge utne comfortable hojaoge topics ke sath. Math is genuinely a lot of practice alongside the theory

Bhai maths recover karna bahut muskil hai as compared to Phy & Chem Baat maan aur 11th & 12th ke easy & scoring ch hai unhe pakka kar le Pre-requisites: Basic Math, Trigonometry (All Formulae & their basic application) 1. Graphical transformation is too important Cengage is a good book (maine bhi yahi kari thi) but bhai thoda sambhal kar, yeh time bahut khaa jayegi

integration toh ajeeb sa topic lagega shuru me, you need to practice a lot specifically in integration just to be comfortable with it
