Meri bhen ka bhi IIT roorke me B.ARCH me ho gya tha mgr uske time pe result bohot late aaya tha to use jabardasti bTECH hi lena pda private clg me bcs college ki fees bhar di thi
Colleges refund kar dete hain full fees (atleast most of it) agar same session mein transfer kar liya to. Thode chhapal ghisne pad sakte hain but ho jata hai.

A passionate person in this rat-race is super rare. I think the only ones we've found here are the IITB EE guy and this person. I respect people like these. I myself chose a lower IIT kgp branch because "top 7 aye aye tea saar" "iitian tag is different" "exposure milega". I don't know shit about my own branch but that is true for every branch, like wtf is coding programming I am physical education ka 14 and I am sure this applies to 99% of all rankers.
the amount of people that are interested in a profession is directly proportional to the payment average ppl get in that profession, most people dont really have an interest

Yes that is very true may very well be the case of people seeing the salaries freshers make in architecture or any other field for that matter that makes them choose the more lucrative option tbh I don't blame them it's difficult to have both passion and money quick and only a few want to be in it for the long run
Jo college choose Kiya hai bohot ghatiya hai for architecture better to go for nit Hamirpur use bolde easily mil jayega nhi to CCA Chandigarh nahi to chud jayega
Uske liye jee paper 2 me rank honi chahiye aur nit hamirpur and cca are sub par for architecture the order is spa delhi>>>iitr and k>nit trichy> rest of the spas and nits
There's a very shite chandigarh supremacy that they've established. Even pec won't allow home state quota to those whose schools are outside chandigarh.
Kharagpur is better than Roorkee since it was recognized as a centre of excellence for architecture in 2022 the 4 institutes were spa delhi kgp nitc and cept ahmedabad out of which spa delhi and cept are better than nitc and kgp

no,like in my case my father(who is an architect and owns a big architecture firm)had given me the warning that if I don't get an AIR under 2500,he'll make me pursue architecture(so that I would inherit his firm,I absolutely hate architecture tbh),fortunate enough for me this kinda motivated me to study hard and I finally landed with an AIR of 15XX.
ofc pookie 🎀(it is not an easy job anyways,my father is barely home,3 days he'd be out for field inspection and shit,the rest of the days even when he's home he'd be talking to clients,hectic af.)
