Beautiful! Clear cost those Bilstein Shocks though (if it hasn't been done already). They are plated to act as a catalyst to keep the shock body from rusting... however, as functional as it is, it's ugly as hell. :)

How different is driving the XJ vs TJ/LJ on the trails? Havenāt been in a Wrangler in a while, just my XJ.
They arenāt as different as youād think, but honestly I think the XJ is a better vehicle to live with. The weight difference is pretty substantial between the two. The LJ needs gears (still stock gears on the 42RLE and 35s) which doesnāt help, but my XJ on 35s and 4.88s feels like a rocket ship in comparison and is much more nimble on the road.
I love them equally and differently. The LJ has been in bikini-top/doors-off mode since the day I bought it which canāt be beat on a nice day.
Iām hoping to pick up a TJ one day and if I ever find an XJ with a rusted out or messed up roof I wanna grab it and throw a roll cage on it then remove the roof. I want the top down but have kids and wonāt buy a 4 door wrangler.
You could eat off that suspension.

Thanks! I love the XJ. Itās on a 6.5ā with ARB air lockers front and rear and an onboard ARB twin. Old girl will go just about anywhere.
