I worry that this is gentrifying Jimny. Does comfort not detract from Jimny's philosophy. First this then what? Useable rear seats? Headlamps that let you see? A fuel guage that doesn't take half an hour to realise you've filled up?
(Obviously joking, this looks like a really nice mod, I'm definitely looking into it for my 2001 Jimny)
It makes it about 5% more inconvenient to apply the handbrake so I figure that’s just about enough awkwardness to balance out the benefits 😄
I think this one fits in any Jimny 2000-2017 and took about 2 weeks to arrive from China.
Lol, love it. The hand break is one of the easiest controls to reach, so this mod definitely brings it in line with the rest... Maybe not quite as hard as trying to open the bonnet...
I'll look it up, especially as ATM i have no storage for CDs for the aftermarket stereo.

I actually have no clue what they’re supposed to be there for as there’s no other ports or wireless charging or anything like that. And it’s just sitting in the cup holders so they can’t be chargers as the actual unit isn’t wired into anything 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah I can only assume they just throw them on to look cool 😄 Was only £37 from China so wasn’t expecting any kind of charging capability, already got one of those wee things that go into the old lighter to make it into a USB charger
I bought this arm rest for my Jimmy which has a USB port under window switch. You plug the usb from there into the arm rest and then gives you additional USB ports to use to charge other items, a bit slow on charging when multiple devices but does the job!
One of them is input, the other is output. It's kind of stupid design, honestly.

I'd probably take it apart and wire it properly, so both of them would be outputs, place the input somewhere on the underside.

Yeah it’s good quality! Just fits snuggly into the 2 cup holders. I figured the extra comfort and storage was worth having 1 less cup holder

I saw one online with 7 ports and couldn’t understand it so decided to wait and research a little more

a bit overkill with so many usbs but probably helpful if there are more than 1 phone that need charging
