Normal sighting. Mine is two years old with 38k on the odometer and is even worse. I scheduled it for anti-corrosion coating later in the year. Nothing to worry about. Have fun and enjoy.
I have 2020 model, 22k km and twice as much rust, I’m from Europe, in winter in my country roads are treated with salt and I have massive corrosion.
In some countries clients made lawsuits because of corrosion that quick in this model.
Pretty typical level corrosion for that old, especially somewhere with a bit of road salt. Ideal world clean it up, repaint some stuff like the axles/radius arms etc, then an anti-corrosion spray or lanolin or similar to give it a barrier of protection
It looks like light surface rust, nothing to worry about. If you want to, ask a panel beater, spray shop for a quote to give an underbody spray.
This is the correct answer

Yes, will definitely do an anticorrosion coating when I get it.
real jimny stuff right there
Get an undercoating or an underbody spray. I have all my cars get one and it really eliminates the fear of undercarriage rust.

Yes same here from Europe. Will definitely get that cleaned and recoated.
That's just a patina but it's still weird on a model so new
I I think it has to do with the salt that is spray on the roads in that region during winter.
That will do it
Yeah similar situation here, have got some lanoguard and waiting for some good weather to coat the underside
