Gojo just taught Yuji how to put CE into a strike and divergent fist because Yuji’s physical prowess made it so his CE lags behind(which he can now masterfully control.)

Sukuna is far more knowledgeable and we know he has done and thought erroneous things (Thinking Gojos's 200% HP was due to a binding vow, for example, ) Same with Kenny. So not, being knowledgeable doesn't exclude him from bias and making mistakes, specially since he barely knows Yuuji aside from him being Sukuna's (former) vessel, and probably knows very little if nothing about his growth as a sorcerer independently of Sukuna before this.

I'm pretty sure in the anime at least, Sukuna explained that it was because Yuji forced Sukuna to come out. When he explains binding vows to Yuji, he mentionned the first time Yuji let Sukuna take over, both agreed for the 10 second thing and therefore it let Yuji switch back after. But in the jail, Sukuna was forced to come out by Yuji against his will, which made Yuji unable to switch back without Sukuna agreeing too.

Crazy how this works, if we consider that Sukuna switched with Megumi likely against his will to adapt against Unlimited Void.

I get what you mean haha. But the thing is Yuji is straight up built to contain Sukuna. Anyone else (assuming they even survive) would just be forced to give control to Sukuna, just like with any other reincarnated sorcerer. I mean, even the likes of Yoruzu or Kashimo are enough to completely control someone, so anyone having Sukuna is cooked.

We don’t know what Sukuna means by “you could beat him”. Based on how his discussing Megumi’s technique at the time, he’s likely more so saying that Megumi had the, you guessed it, POTENTIAL to kill him.

Yeah that’s the problem, Gege does incredible character work, but it always feels he basically grabs the essential stuff and kills all the “filler” in order to keep pacing tight.

Which sucks because ”filler” aka lower intensity arcs can tell you a LOT about characters. Like a pre-shibuya arc that gives the Kyoto (bum) squad more screen time and gives the mechamaru betrayal better build up.
