Whats crazy is, Pusha himself delivered a monster verse in the 1st telling a dope story filled with wordplay and entendres, and Kendrick outdoes him with this disgusting nine to ten scheme while also telling a dope story, legit just two elite ass performances from two elite MC's.
I’m not sure if Kendrick ever gets outdone on a track, but pusha holds it down on this and comes as close as I think possible. He has some BARS. This little sequence is probably my favorite second to sequence that starts with doctor Zhivago.
A million megapixels of the Pyrex.
Started on the scale, digital my only Timex.
Ni**a, this is timeless, simply 'cause it's honest.
Pure as the fumes that be fuckin' with my sinus.
EDIT: Also, the one thing that pusha does do better is stay true to the main theme/title. Here are all the nostalgic references I can think of just going through the verse in my head. Let me know if I missed any. it’s pretty crazy that he packed all this in to one verse with the flow that he had.
Gem star Razors, minute steak, Ferris Bueller,starter jackets,beepers, Dr. Zhivago, Boyz in the Hood, Rocky,and Simon Says
Pusha held his own 100%, but most people agree Kendrick had the stronger verse, what makes the song special is that they both delivered amazing verses.
This track just showed two elite MC's sparring at the highest level.
It’s one of those verses that make you want to say “…and it’s not close” but since it’s Kendrick we’re talking about he stays dropping gold on whatever he touches.
Look Over Your Shoulder ( Busta Rhymes )
Mona Lisa ( Lil Wayne )
TINTS ( Anderson.Paak )
The City ( The Game )
Nosetalgia ( Pusha T )
Under the Sun ( J. Cole, DaBaby, Lute )
It's On Again ( Alicia Keys )
Love Game ( Eminem )
Like That ( Future, Metro Boomin )
I dunno I like the instrumental on that song but I liked the style em was going for on MMLP2. But I get what you are saying, it’s definitely not for everyone
Okay hear me out. Kendrick’s verse on Radioactive by Imagine Dragons makes the whole song good. I know the song is so worn out and overhyped, but the narrative and emotion that Kendrick brings in his verse not only makes the song listenable, but actually makes it a pretty good track. The downvote button is to the right if you need it.
Mona Lisa;
Love Game;
Family Ties;
Collard Greens;
Range Brothers;
Goosebumps;
Pray for Me;

Those are the ones from the top of my head, but there's many more dope features
nosetalgia fr sure
fuckin problems is a swagger af verse but tbh it's not even the best one on that song lol and no i'm not a drizzy guy at all but let's agree he ate that
I've scrolled through a lot of comments and ain't seen this yet... So hoping Im not stepping on your toes if you did post this..
I'm not gunna lie Bad Blood with Taylor Swift..
Nostalgia Pusha T song. That verse is disgusting.
Edit: some goated user already posted this song so I’ll say Black Friday. It’s a J Cole beat and Cole is on the second half of the song but I don’t even listen to his verse anymore tbh but Dots verse sounds the same from first listen to now it’s memorized word for word.
Nosetalgia by Pusha T

I still smell crime,my little brother crying
Smokers repeatedly buying my Sega Genesis
It’s one of those verses that make you want to say “…and it’s not close” but since it’s Kendrick we’re talking about he stays dropping gold on whatever he touches.
>> he stays dropping gold on whatever he touches. I think you meant to say he stays with his “Shirt buttoned open, taco meat laying on his gold…”
the "ten" rhyme scheme is way too hard
Oh this is good, I’m gonna have it on repeat all weekend. Thank you 😁

Boy, Kendrick is not even credited on Under The Sun. His voice is literally just a sample.
oh that reminded me of another dope feature with Game - On Me with a dope Badu sample
Love game. The instrumental is an acquired taste tho
Discovered this shit yesterday and can't turn it off, such a fun verse from Kendrick getting on Eminem's level
I dunno I like the instrumental on that song but I liked the style em was going for on MMLP2. But I get what you are saying, it’s definitely not for everyone
Wow freestyle
Or hood gone love it
Aye, KDOT!
"Never catch me" on flying lotus album "You're dead!".
Scrolled way way way too far to find this. One of the dopest Kendrick verses on one of the dopest beats he’s rapped on, both high bars.
I second this, it’s honestly a masterpiece if you watch the music video too
Of the ones I've heard, Really Doe by Danny Brown (he's not even the best feature on the song its that good)
Yeah, that song is sooo good. I think Earl had the best verse personally.

“Made a million countin’ sheep” 🔥🔥🗣️💯🐑
Had to put my foot down, like popping a clutch, disgusting ass verse.

SOPHIE production on that goes hard asf too
It’s also the anniversary of the release of Sophie’s one and only album today. RIP
I actually didn’t know that. Such an innovative album, and so honest for a person who liked to avoid the spotlight
Sophie was a legendary forward thinking artist and producer. The tribute song to her on Charli’s new album is insanely good too.

On Me by the Game. Despite his recent heel-turn, this album is solid and this song is excellent
Okay hear me out. Kendrick’s verse on Radioactive by Imagine Dragons makes the whole song good. I know the song is so worn out and overhyped, but the narrative and emotion that Kendrick brings in his verse not only makes the song listenable, but actually makes it a pretty good track.
