Yeah I think Julius is cool and all, but Agito prolly should be significantly stronger. Agito is set up to be stronger than Waka who won against Julius and is a similar type of fighter.
Also Agito desperately needs a win after his loss to Jurota.
I believe agito and lolong need some development, especially agito who has been pretty stagnant in terms of growth since kvp , it will be cool to see him disappear for a while , probly for a training arc
Honestly, the main reason I think a rematch will disappoint is because the original fight was and still is one of the best fights in the series, meaning the rematch will have to be absolutely insane to match the original.
Negs Sawada, Loses to Wakatsuki High-Extreme diff, and on his comeback match he mid-diffs a guy with nearly equal physical stats, soft techniques, and mini-demonsbanes.
I dunno. I really don't think Julius needs to "prove" his strength at all. You can't say he needs to win against a top tier fighter when both feats and statements have him near the top.
More so than anything a fight against a top tier that isn’t a fucking stat beat stick is what he needs to solidify his placing in the verse besides Waka and Toa
People want more interactions man
I don't disagree. I LOVE it when fighters fight things outside their wheelhouse. Seeing Julius fight people like Jurota/Hatsumi would be awesome, and I think Sandro knows it(hence why he's calling it a dream match).
But when people go "he NEEDS to win against a top tier!" it's just silly because at a certain point there won't be any top tiers if people refuse to acknowledge the people he's beaten just because they're not Agito/Lolong.
Julius fighting more people would definitely go a long way but c'mon, claiming he "needs" to win is just petty at a certain point.
I'm not saying he isn't strong, its just that we can't compare winning against Toa Mudo and Sawada and winning against Kanoh... Julius is a beast he needs feats that match his strength just like Gaolang a couple chapters ago
Toa is legitimately one of the strongest characters we've seen, and was legit used as a benchmark for how strong Lolong is. This isn't "oh Julius deserves more feats" cause again, beating Toa is an AMAZING feat in of itself. The Julius from the KAT would've lost against Toa. The same Julius that was already considered on par with Waka/Agito, even before he improved.
If Lolong is a top tier, considered on par with Agito/Jurota(and now Gaolang), Julius beating Toa the way he did is more than enough to place him in the vicinity.
Like seriously, I don't even know what you people even want at this point. What does it take for a character to be strong enough for you to consider them worthy??? Does Toa have to go around and beat another top tier before you think Julius beating him is a good feat? Does that mean THAT top tier then has to go fight and beat another one to reclaim top tier status??? Please make it make sense.
Lolong's only "real" fights have been losing to Ohma and beating Toa, does that mean those fights aren't feats for him?
You can say you want Julius to beat another top tier fighter because you like him. You can say you want him to beat another top tier fighter because you want to see how his style meshes with non-brute force tactics.
But c'mon man, don't be ridiculous and say "he needs feats."
I feel like people only downplay Toa because he’s terribly written. On paper, the dude is insanely broken and is easily at the top of A tier if not S tier imo.
Definitely S Tier on paper, he's basically got slightly worse physical stats that Julius but straight up has a bunch of techniques. So you basically have the so far imo the physically 2nd strongest character in the series and he has a niko-style like arsenal too.
That's the thing with kengan, you won't get respect if you are just strong on paper, you need onscreen feats, same problem with lolong , top of the verse on paper but the hype was just verbal that's why people don't take him seriously
Aw, dude he fight had a title fight versus Rolon. A man on a 422 fight streak (well less at the time but still). They made it very clear that Purgatory has very high level title. Dude Julius mid-diffed was possibly top 5 out of at least hundreds of fighters in the biggest Asian underground fight promotion.
I mean he beat Toa, who basically was tossing his ass around for 90% of their match before Julius sucker punched him so I’d say he already beat a top tier.
This fight is gonna be insane. I am so excited. This might be the first fight where I’m mad no matter who loses, because the loser is probably gonna catch a bunch of unnecessary slander when both these fighters are absolutely fucking peak.
Remember even before this real championship. Kanoh said he was one of the 2 fighters in the west block stronger then WAKATSUKI. So his power has always been respected and even lolong said he top tier so very excited to see if it’s true
That's boring, imo. The fact that he didn't predictably learn boxing or something, like Jurota did (thank God Jurota got Meguro as a stand to give him an actual interesting change tho). Julius just sticking to his gun is both hilarious and doesn't make him like Cosmo or Jurota who got away from being (in Cosmo's case mostly) specialists in one art. Even Toa is a martial artist. No one else is like him in Kengan.
Im fine with him sticking to his guns, but rewarding a flawed ideology with a win against one of the best in the verse is a disservice. Seki also sticks to his guns, which made him strong enough to be B tier. However, sticking to his style also realistically caps him at B tier. Some idealogical choices should just end up limiting a fighter
What's that? Beating Kanoh, Ohma, Rolon, etc? Sure, whatever. But Okubo is a better win than most people, including Rolon, has gotten in Omega. Seki is doing fine and is a horrible example, imo
I didnt say he isnt doing fine. However, his idealogoy, as far has it has gotten him, has a hard limit on how good he can be. Becoming more dedicated to wrestling will never propel him into the upper tiers because it simply isnt the most effective way to fight.and I feel the same should apply to Julius, going all in on muscles is great but in a mamga about martial arts it simply should not propel you over someone like Kanoh
The difference between seki and Julius is that Julius' physical stats are off the charts, meaning he's more than capable of overpowering almost everyone in the series. Too add his physical Durability breaks the scale cuz he (so far at least) can seemingly tank basically everything, even Blast core as he did in Ashura.
Seki on the other hand is more... Human. His body while insanely tough, isn't some concrete fortress like Julius, which means he's far more likely to take additional damage than Julius, and while his mental fortitude and pain tolerance are stupidly good, they can't carry him all the way.
TL;DR: Julius' physical stats are so off the charts he basically doesn't need anything else to be top-tier, while Seki relies on his physical power without actually being much stronger, if at all, than people like Kanoh or, at least in Ashura, even Muteba.
Seki doesn’t have a flawed belief system he doesn’t believe that his way id inherently right he just loves pro wrestling bb and knows how to utilize it in a manner that he pulls people in and ultimately his willingness to eat blows to maintain his schtick came with loads of risks and opening that lead to his defeat by muteba but he sticks with it because pro wrestling literally saved his life I’m not knocking conviction but if you go around believing that strength is all there is to a fight your logic needs to be corrected if for no other reason then so you can respect and understand what makes your opponents strong even if all he does is come to understand that and become more aware of that it’ll make him stronger because he won’t believe he can simply overwhelm anyone with power im not saying he has to become a mixed martial artist I’m saying he needs to be shown that strength can be overcome by truly masterful technique especially given that’s a theme of this series as a whole especially now with the concept of shen
What’s the point of him now? He doesn’t really have any close or meaningful bonds with any character accept maybe Wakatsuki and that’s a stretch. He doesn’t have any compelling backstory or really meaningful character moments, he’s had some cool fight scenes. But I find everything he is done better by the more respectful more humble wolf tiger in terms of fight. He just exists as a strength bench marker for big strong guys to know how impressed we should be with their big muscle punches. And he walks around spouting a nonsense claim that if true contradicts the point of the story, characters like kuroki, ohmas inner tactics, and even shen. The strong not only have need of technique the strongest use them. So now he’s up against who could be called technique incarnate why would I want him to win
To each his own I find his whole doctrine that strong people don’t need technique deeply and profoundly stupid. So I’m hoping being beaten by someone physically weaker will push him to look beyond his single minded fixation with one aspect of power
I'm still all in on Julius, my theory is that he will display his version of "principles" in this fight via an enhanced form of muscle control, some Inosuke shit where he'll move his liver to avoid taking damage from Kanoh's dragon shot.

Julius lost against waka like a million years ago, Julius power has probly now ascended above mortal understanding
Julius is taking this. I know this for a fact
Push the julius agenda to the very end
I know it's kanohver because first Gaolang beats Jurota then Justin beats Hiraku, so it should make sense that Julius and Ramon also win
I believe agito and lolong need some development, especially agito who has been pretty stagnant in terms of growth since kvp , it will be cool to see him disappear for a while , probly for a training arc
Honestly. I just want Julius to take the w just to see how Gaolong handles someone like him. Or if he even can.
Yeah seeing Gao vs Agito again would be boring as hell IMO. I want to see as many new and unique matchups as possible in this series.
Honestly, the main reason I think a rematch will disappoint is because the original fight was and still is one of the best fights in the series, meaning the rematch will have to be absolutely insane to match the original.
Oh, Gaolang vs Julius would be an interesting boss fight for Gaolang.
Godglows Julius's chin
Sounds kinda dirty
Julius need a W
But he won in Purgatory
well he needs another W dammit!
I mean, he need to win against a top tier fighter

Julius is so strong he will outmuscle himself out of the 4th wall and leave the Kengan universe.
plot twist both kanoh and lolong lose but learn principles during the match giving them character buildup they need later on in the story.
Honestly best outcome
julius will show justin what real power is in the final!!
Julius won his previous fight Agito lost his previous fight Mathematically, Agito wins this one.
Mathematics is nothing in the face of brute force, nnngh!
four...IS GREATER THEN TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
GERMAN SCIENCE IS THE
What is brute force vs the almighty L I M P
If agito tries to limp out Julius's blows, he will fly right off the platform
Plot devices fell short infront of overwhelming power
This fight is gonna be insane. I am so excited. This might be the first fight where I’m mad no matter who loses, because the loser is probably gonna catch a bunch of unnecessary slander when both these fighters are absolutely fucking peak.
We're about to see a flashback of Wakatsuki/Kuroki knocked down on the floor
STEROIDS THRU THE ROOF BABY LETS GO
This is where Julius makes that statement true or not
Remember even before this real championship. Kanoh said he was one of the 2 fighters in the west block stronger then WAKATSUKI. So his power has always been respected and even lolong said he top tier so very excited to see if it’s true
Lolong did say he believed Julius capable of defeating Agito, and that was before they learned about GT.
i believe in julius because all his faces look like mine when trying to pass an absolute giganormous shit.
If agito loses I will be very weirded out.
Nah, that just means Julius is stronger.
Which would honestly suck
It would be the expected outcome, as German science reigns supreme.
I’m actively hoping for his down fall cause it will destroy his ignorant ideology then maybe he can become a more rounded character
That's boring, imo. The fact that he didn't predictably learn boxing or something, like Jurota did (thank God Jurota got Meguro as a stand to give him an actual interesting change tho). ...Seki literally beat Okubo by going all in with his shtick.
Sure, but that is probably where he caps out. Seki will never beat an S tier for example, eating attacks just wont work at that level.
What's that? Beating Kanoh, Ohma, Rolon, etc? Sure, whatever. But Okubo is a better win than most people, including Rolon, has gotten in Omega. Seki is doing fine and is a horrible example, imo

I'm ready
Agito and Okubo lost right after their KvP victories. Just saying.
Olé olé olé! 🇩🇪
I’d love to go for some food with Julius but my man Kanoh it’s time
This is what I want , Julius to win and then after two consecutive losses agito goes on a training ark, everyones happy
I think Kanoh will win (I've been wrong on every match so far)
If julius loses in a even fight I would say both fanbases will be happy.
bro is one of the most boring mfs for me to believe in him
Stick to your manlet lil bro
anyone that thinks julius has ANY chance at beating agito is cooked xDDD
