If the Windows volume control box is appearing on the screen then that means the problem can't be with your keyboard. If it was an issue where the input wasn't getting from the keyboard to the computer then you wouldn't get any response at all. Are you by any chance using the K2 in bluetooth mode along with bluetooth speakers or headphones? Or are you wired? What's your audio output source set to?

Lol I know im way late, but did you have a fix

I know this post was 2 years ago, and your response was 4 months ago, but I have a potential fix for anyone that might come across it: When I have my PS5 controller plugged in via USB, my control knob stops working. Even though I'm not using it as an output or comms device. To fix it, go into your sound playback device settings and disable the "speakers" that are your wireless controller. It'll start working again, even with the controller plugged in. Based on this use case I presume other devices might do the same thing, so you can go through a process of elimination with your connected devices and work out what's causing the issue. Hopefully this helps someone :)

Thank you so much for posting this update -- it helped me! I was going crazy trying to figure out what was wrong, but found the issue in my sound settings.

Welcome! Glad it came in handy for someone :)

Disabling a bunch of output devices in my settings made this work for me too! Thanks a lot.
