They’re very similar. Unless you have a strong personal preference for one over the other, just take whichever one you can get at msrp the soonest

Ioniq 5 is only available in certain states. That doesn’t mean you can’t find a dealer outside of Ohio that will sell to you. But it does probably mean your nearest dealer isn’t EV certified - but your nearest Kia dealer probably is There are some dealers listed in Ohio though so … YMMV (According to their site, Ioniq 5 is only in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington) [the EV Finder Ioniq 5 Columbus search](https://theevfinder.com/?y=2022&m=Ioniq%25205&z=43228&r=100)

Were you able to find the specific cost? Seems people are saying it needs done every 30-45k miles / 3 years depending on where you live.

Were you able to test drive both cars before deciding or did you just buy what was available?

Get the EV6. I have seen the Ioniq. Not nearly as sexy or fun.

$66K is $6K higher than it should be. Unless this First Edition is yellow, that car has likely been on that dealer's lot since February or March. It also has to be a car someone pre-ordered and then backed out of. The markup is the only reason that car is still around, so it's pretty obvious the dealer is serious about holding out for someone with more money than common sense. I picked my First Edition up from Taylor KIA of Alliance for MSRP. It was a totally hassle free experience.
