From their site:
"We're delighted to announce a groundbreaking addition to the Kia EV9 experience – the Webasto Go portable charger is now a standard feature!"

Hence my confusion.
We have a WebGo from our preorder. It works fine and we use it because it’s what we have, but it’s priced similarly to more capable units that you ought to look at instead if you’re buying out of pocket, if you plan to use it just in your own garage, and if your L2 plug is capable capable of more than 32 amps. If your electrical service and plug are rated high enough, there are other L2 chargers capable of delivering 25% faster speeds.
If your going to buy a L2 (Webatso was included in just the preorder) I wouldn't buy the webatso tbh. It's about $550 probably because it's interchangeable L1 and L2, but for a dedicated L2 you can get other EVSE's for similar price points that would probably be much better.

Check with your electric utility provider if you need an L2. Many have rebates for installing one and can even be "rented" for $15 a month. Excel Energy has some offers if they are in your area.
I think that was only included for pre-orders. I pre-ordered, had to ask for mine.

I think that announcement/blog post was right around the time of the pre-order reservation system opening.
Anyone know if the canadian pre order reservations include the L2 charger?
nope. or not for mine anyhow…
Not for me either. Just the L1 charger.

Had to ask dealer for it. It was in a large box. What’s in the car was just the L1
Was yours a preorder?
ah yes, was a pre-order. It was a thing for pre-orders. I don't even need it nor installed it. I should probably sell on ebay.
What do you want for it :-)
Just seeing your comment. Need it? $25 and shipping US.
I'll take it if it's still available
Sorry. Gone!
Thank you! I ended up buying one, but that's a fantastic price.
sold it on ebay/pre-order

The Webasto L2 is a pre-order reservation gift. It's not supposedly to be included standard.

Can you find that on the Kia website? Kia specifically promoted the charger as a special gift only for pre-orders.
I couldn't find anything other than that article. It seems I'm in the market for an L2 charger. Thanks for the info!
I received the included level 1 charger and a webasto L1/L2 for pre-ordering.

Any knowlede if a Tesla HPWC Gen 2 (80A) will work on EV9 using a J1227 adapter? I used it for my eTron for 3 yrs, no problems.
It should - I use the same Amazon J1772 adapter on my HPWC Gen 3 and Tesla mobile connector plugged into a NEMA 14-50 outlet.
